Reindeer Lodge

De locatie, de sfeer en een heerlijk ontbijt.

Het was koud in de stuga toen we aankwamen, maar het was ook ineens min 20. We hebben hebben het met de houtkachel toch lekker warm gekregen.

We LOVED Reindeer lodge. Tula's warm welcome and info on their reindeer, where to see the northern lights, the location was gorgeous and so quiet. We were so lucky to be there on a night of full on northern light activity. We had the glamping tent, with its wood burning stove, made it super cozy. The beds were super comfy ( slept so long We almost missed breakfast!) The buffet spread was filled with so much food and variety, we were still full at lunch. The spa and sauna were an added bonus. Everything warm and cozy.

:platoon was near the river very beautiful, breakfast was generous with a good variety, the tend was warm and cozy with tree reindeers walking nearby, would chose or recommend again without hesitation

The staff is extremely kind and helpful, truly welcoming. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the wood stove creates such a warm and special atmosphere. The sauna and steam room are also a lovely touch that make the stay even better.

The only downside is that the location is a bit hard to reach. We walked there from the center of Jukkasjärvi - a pleasant walk, but something to keep in mind - while getting there by car is no problem. Another small inconvenience is that the kitchen isn’t available full time, so you need to plan around the reception hours. That said, it’s a beautiful place and I would definitely come back!
