Fernmount Stay

Very comfortable bed. Nice property grounds, river outlook and location. Studio room was nicely appointed.

Communication with the property was very poor and frustrating. Property owner/manager is unresponsive by phone or email prior to arrival and responds by text only after arrival. Online booking page should advise that it is self check in and that you have to find your room/cabin by yourself. Booked this place to kayak on the river for my partners birthday but got stuck down the river with an old broken paddle that couldn't be used. 3pm check in doesn't give you much time to enjoy the place if you're staying only 1 night. Studio balcony sliding door was also broken.

Location and site was great generally, and pool was super, good value for money overall with amazing views. Kids loved it.

Place clearly isn't maintained quite as well as it likely once was, with hedges grown much larger than in pictures and general cleanliness in the property not great, with mouldy patches in some cutlery drawers, and the communal area quite dirty. Think it's on the market, which would explain things. No major issues overall though, and we still had a great time.

Very sad that there was musty odour throughout the cottage with a heart condition I had a very hard time breathing. The only thing I liked was the pool . Saw a lady asking my family if they needed anything once. They were not happy with the spiders in there house. In all one of the worst places we have stayed in. Lorrie Clive Alberta Canada

Not much the pool

Great pool in a lovely setting. Cabin was well equiped and clean. Comfortable bed and lounge.

Awesome location, well apiunted cabin with huge amount of room. Great pool and common area.

Nothing, was great

It was great to jump into the pool on such a hot day of our arrival and we loved the privacy of the property.

There were no teaspoons or sugar for tea and coffee.
