Mao Mao surf

What a way to experience outdoor living! The rooms are super comfortable, clean, and the outdoor shower space is extremely cool. The staff is extremely friendly and sweet.

The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, surfing lessons were fun and very good. It was my first time surfing and Pali was a great teacher! They also have amazing breakfast options, my favourite were the smoothie bowls. Super cute accommodation too, will definitely be back!

The bathroom is open air and although it's sheltered I had a frog in my shower for some days and the bamboo can be a bit uncomfortable to stand on. Minor but to be considered!

Such cute little huts. Friendly and helpful staff. Only 5 huts so vibe is really nice and chilled. Will come back and stay again! We loved it.

We loved our stay at Mao Mao! For us it had everything we needed to feel super comfortable, it is a very thoughtful, stylish place. It has just the right amount of comforts that makes it feel special. Highly recommend the surf lessons too! Thanks so much to Len for the warm hospitality and Kent and Ryan for the lessons :) Mao Mao really feels like a family and that radiated into it feeling like ‘home’ more than a hotel in the best way. Wish we stayed longer! Will absolutely be back next time we’re in Siargao and will recommend to friends! Thank you 💕

Beautiful place. Large rooms, clean and I may be repetitive, but beautiful. The staff is always friendly, helpful and patient. Patients because I asked them a thousand things and they always helped me with everything. The breakfast was very good, the best in the place ever. Absolutely i recommend it and i will definitely come back and do more surf lessons and tours. Thanks everyone

Best place in Siargao. Nice staff, good breakfast and incredibly talented surf instructors!

We loved our stay here! It looks exactly as online and we felt so welcomed by Ien and his colleagues. The rooms are super cute and are being cleaned daily, the outdoor bathroom was lovely too. We had breakfast one morning and it was delicious. We tried the cafe next door the next morning (which was great too). We booked surfing through them as well and had to reschedule one lesson, Cara was incredibly responsive and flexible. We felt very accommodated! They also shared plenty of island recommendations with us and it genuinely felt as if they wanted us to have the very best time in Siargao. We decided to stay 2 nights and move to another hotel before getting to the Philippines and regretted our choice. Would 100% recommend to book when coming to Siargao! :-)

Only thing I can think of are the towels - they left quite some cotton residue on the skin after showering which was uncomfortable when putting cream on after.
