Couple of maintenance issues.

Everything about our stay at Greenfire Game Lodge was absolutely PERFECT. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcomed and cared for. The staff and managers are super friendly, warm, compassionate, and genuinely caring. It truly felt like they went above and beyond in every possible way. The attention to detail is SUPER, SUPER BIG, from the lodge itself to the daily experiences. The food was fantastic, consistently delicious and beautifully prepared. Our bungalow was top-notch, incredibly comfortable, and offered an amazing view. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. Everything felt thoughtful, personal, and done with heart. We honestly felt looked after at all times. This was my wife’s and my very first safari and first-ever trip to Africa, and thanks to Greenfire, it couldn’t have been more magical. A very special mention goes to Selby, without a doubt the best guide we could have hoped for. Thanks to his knowledge, passion, and skill, we managed to see the Big 5 in just 4 game drives, something we will remember for the rest of our lives. We were blessed with great weather, but nothing would have been possible without Selby. This was a 10/10 experience and by far the best hospitality experience we had in 2025. We can’t recommend Greenfire Game Lodge enough. A truly exceptional place with exceptional people.

There was honestly nothing we didn’t like about our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The only downside was that we had to leave.

All was perfect. Super friendly staff and managers. Great food. The family bungalows were top with an amazing view. A special big thanks for our driver, Victor ! We'll come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this game lodge in Kruger. The location is truly special , right in the heart of the jungle, offering a very authentic and immersive experience. The hosts and their entire staff were incredibly warm and attentive, taking excellent care of us throughout our stay. The food was a real highlight; every meal was thoughtfully prepared, and my wife especially appreciated the delicious vegetarian options, which were handled with great care. While animal sightings were limited during our visit, this was largely due to the rains and beyond the lodge’s control. That aside, the property itself is beautifully maintained, luxurious, and extremely comfortable. Overall, it’s a fantastic lodge with great hospitality, excellent food, and a stunning setting. We would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet immersive Kruger experience.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns von der ersten Minute an wie im Paradies gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr herzlich und familiär und man lernt auch die anderen Reisenden schnell kennen. Die Lodge ist groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Vom Balkon aus kann man im ausgetrockneten Flussbett regelmäßig Tiere sehen, wir haben beispielsweise gleich bei unserer Ankunft Büffel im Gras gesehen. Das Essen war super frisch und lecker und es wird sogar auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Die Safari-Fahrten mit unserem Guide Victor waren grandios - er hat uns alle Big 5 gezeigt! Er hat ein enormes Wissen über alle Tiere, deswegen haben wir super viel dazugelernt und gleichzeitig hatten wir eine Menge Spaß. Hakuna Matata!

Wir waren das zweite Mal dort und es hat uns wieder sehr gefallen. Wir fühlten uns erneut sehr wohl und willkommen. Team, Essen, Unterkunft und Lage sind perfekt und die Game-Drives mit Victor sind lehrreich, sicher und unvergesslich.

Tout est exceptionnel. Les chambres, les 2 sorties journalières pour voir les animaux, les employés qui prennent soin de nous... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir, ce fut un de nos moments fort en Afrique du Sud

Wunderschöne Lage. Unser Guide hat sich sehr bemüht uns das Beste zu zeigen. So haben wir jeden Tag einen Leoparden gesehen. Leider ist er etwas wortkarg gewesen.
