The room is a clean, basic room to base yourself on the outskirts of Phong Nha along a quiet road. The price was good for Phong Nha. We had to wait 20 minutes for the hot water to heat up but was good and well pressured once it was hot.

We booked the accommodation a couple of days before arriving but when we turned up they were not expecting us (despite us being the only guests) which made our arrival quite uncomfortable. Our caving tour started with a 7am pick up (as is standard for the area) but they only start breakfast at 7am - they did provide breakfast for us at around 6:45 after we asked which we appreciated although we were made to feel like it was a bit of an imposition.

The location is really farm-oriented. The room was clean and had a fridge(!) New and comfortable place, chickens, cows and a spotless sky will surround you.

The house is made of ...I have no idea what is it, but it seems to collect the heat and keep warming ... You can fry an egg on the wall, honestly..So, in the middle of a day a first couple of hours is a real boiler room even having an air con! But at night it's very beautiful and comfortable stay.

The staff is absolutely awesome, quick to help with everything. The room is very spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed

Very nice homestay. Van is very friendly and helpful, the place is sparkly clean and the bed very comfortable. Spacious room too, at this price it's a great deal! Recommended!

A neighbour got one of those megaphones. Not sure what's going on, but he uses it, and it's loud (sometimes at 7am). Not the homestay's fault, but it's a bit disturbing

This homestay was great. We got picked up from where the bus dropped us off which was great, and then Van and her family were very welcoming. The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and we also ate dinner here one night and that was really good as well.

The only minor downside is the location which is about 2km from all the main shops/restaurants in town, however there are plenty of restaurants that are closer than that to the homestay which you can enjoy. Plus if you plan to hire a motorbike or a scooter you won't have any issues!
