Sunshine Homestay

What a lovely stay with a good family. The owner picked me up at 5am from where the night bus dropped me off. It's one of the cleanest and nicest homestays I've stayed in. Nice big double bed plus the mattress wasn't too hard.Plus they didn't even charge me for the night I got off the night bus. You can book tours with them and rent bikes. Amazing stay would definitely recommend to anyone. 10/10

We spent a few nights are sunshine homestay with Van and her family. We were picked up from the center as the homestay was a little bit far and she welcomed us with fresh water and a warm smile. Van bent over backwards the whole stay for us to have a wonderful stay at her hotel - she arranged transport, tours, breakfast, motorbike rental for a super fair price. The room we had offered the nicest view on the mountain and was very clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was clean too. Van allowed us to check out much much later than usual as we were heading north on a night bus and no one had booked the room and let us use the motorbike longer too. She dropped us back to the city center and was a great help when the bus company mixed up our booking. We 100% recommend her and her sweet family for a Phong Nha.

The hosts are very kind and accommodating. They are very helpful to optimize your arrival and departure, and guide you to choose the tours. I recommend them 100%.

While scooter rental was available at the property, it's worth noting that the rental period did not operate on a 24-hour basis, like in most places, but instead followed a calendar day system. If you rented a bike in the evening, you would still be required to pay the full price for that day.

Rooms were lovely, spacious and had a great view. Van was really helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and help us.
