We had a wonderful weekend stay at La Montagne in Hartebeespoortdam. The establishment is officially 4-star, but the service we received exceeded a 5-star level. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The property and gardens were immaculate, and the views over the dam were breathtaking, it honestly reminded us of the lakes in Italy. The restaurant was also excellent, with great choices for both lunch and dinner, and the price point is very good for the generous portion sizes. Breakfast was hearty and we didn’t want for anything. Every small detail felt thoughtfully considered and well implemented. We’ll definitely be back.

"Good place to visit"

It was stowed away at the mountain but still closer to places i wanted to visit, it's beautiful, the staff were very nice they made sure we had a great stay

It is difficult to locate, the reception lady wasn't so polite. The bedsheets appeared to be dirty when we arrived, they did change them but they don't really lookthe cleaniest still
