Dixons Den Hot Tub

Location was very quiet and clean. Close to several areas of interest. Owner left a welcome gift which was a lovely touch we did not expect.

Light in the shower room didn't work. Window wouldn't open but understand owner was waiting on repairs to it.

It was very well placed in the park. The hot tub was a god send. 3 of us went and we all had a bedroom each which was fab.

The gate wouldn’t close properly, we couldn’t open the bathroom window in the shower room. It could do with a door mat inside the front door to soak up some of the rain. A bigger saucepan than the ones there.

Loved the hot tub . Nicely screened.

Smaller than I expected

They can easily reach and will accommodate you thru text if you have any questions about the property.The bottle of wine and biscuits is so nice after a long travel from Scotland.The place is so accessible to the place of attraction and food.Definetly we are coming back and we also recommend to our friends as well.

Location is great for families and within driving distance of nearby places of interest such as Alnmouth, Bamburgh, Alnwick etc. Wine & chocolates on arrival was a welcome surprise. Well equipped kitchen with pans, utensils etc if you choose to cook and outside seating.

Gate didn’t fasten securely so I pushed a chair up against it as I was concerned my children would get out. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable and doors inside caravan were incredibly noisy & squeaky.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Dixon Den for my Sons birthday. Site is lovely, great park for the kids and loads of places to explore locally. Definitely recommend Nelsons for food or cakes, so nice. Lodge was lovely, nice and clean and tidy and lovely decor inside and well equipped. Nice gesture of a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival . The kids loved the hot tub which was really clean. There was a guy came round sat morning to top the chlorine up. We would definitely come back

Not really any negatives as such but a little information booklet in the lodge would be helpful it took a wee while to work out the heating, and maybe some local info would be handy and where bins are located etc. But there's always Google I suppose as lodge has brill WIFI so not a major issue
