Montrose Watertower

The whole experience was excellent Very relaxing, comfortable home from home. Selection of items available for breakfast good. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the copper bath which has a history of its own. Views great from roof top. Lovely chippy with good selection only 100m or so away. Good secure off road parking. Host was great.

Unique building, in a great location and with a very hospitable host. The building is very clean, beautifully decorated, has lovely views all around and is a great place to relax after a day of exploring the area. Dag is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend staying at the Water tower!

charming host and the accommodations were - Wow! This was a dream place to stay in every aspect. Clean, lots of light, a working record player, took a bath in the tub!

Quirky and unique property with a welcoming and considerate host. The Water Tower is spacious and well equipped with amazing views. A lot of well thought out little extra touches and handy local amenities. Dogs are welcome too which is a great bonus.

Montrose Watertower, along with it's host , provides a very unique environment for an extremely enjoyable and relaxing stay.

I have just returned with my daughters from a stay here and I will most definitely be coming back. Dag, the host is so welcoming and friendly and makes you feel home from home, fully stocked cupboards and fridges on your arrival and everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is great as you are not far away from any of the beaches/ nature reserves and if you drive then go and explore, you won't be disappointed! Johnshaven is definitely worth a visit, a quiet little fishing village about a 10 minute drive away and St Cyrus Nature reserve is also worth a visit, again not far away at all. You are roughly an hour away from Dundee and Aberdeen and if you are interested in visiting a Castle then head up to Crathes. Just beautiful.

Unique property and wonderfull host. Very comfy bed. Well stocked fridge and cupboards. Outside lift to carry luggage up.

Room we slept in would benefit from a blackout shutter as bright in the morning due to skylight.

Both property and Dag exceeded our expectations . Very welcoming . Property was walking distance to town and ideally positioned for walks. Dog friendly
