Montrose Watertower

The Tower was great and everything you could need was supplied. The host was lovely

Nothing it was brilliant

The location was brilliant and the tower itself has plenty of space - love the open plan lounge & kitchen. Two good size bedrooms which came in handy when the family came up for an overnight as the two fold up beds were setup in the second bedroom. The roof access was really good with great views. The fridge was stocked full of breakfast items and then there was the whiskey bar- WOW!

Difficult question to answer as it was a great experience for us, at a push I would say the stairs but that is at a push.

This place is amazing ! The exterior is stunning and the internal is full of nooks and crannies. We loved everything about it from being able to access the roof for incredible views to the excellent hospitality from Dag the owner, who ensured our fridge was stocked and drink available for a night cap.

Absolutely nothing

Dag the owner is an incredible host, he adds lots of personal touches and his unique flare to your stay. Dag collected us from the train station and took us back at the end. He advised on near by restaurants and welcomed us with a dram and a tour of the tower. We ended up staying indoors on the first night as we wanted to relax and enjoy the property, our daughter made good use of the hammocks and we loved the comfy beds and great selection of food and drink Dag had generously provided for us. Unique features include the antique copper bath, the rooftop, the luggage elevator and the vinyl player.

The worst part and most disappointing part of this property was having to leave!

Loved the eclectic mix of new and old. Very well catered for with provisions. Great couple of nights sleep and our wee pup made herself at home right away. Want my own swing chair now in my own home !!!

Can’t think of anything that could be changed to make our stay any better

It was unique and quirky and just fabulous. amazing host. amazing views. great lift ride!
