Een klein paradijs direct aan het strand met eigen zwembad en heerlijk restaurant inclusief ontzettend aardige en behulpzame medewerkers … FAntastisch een aanrader om tot rust te komen maar toch ook allerlei watersport te doen.

Location was good. It was a bit outside of the main restaurant/beach area so lovely and quiet but within walking distance of the popular restaurants and bays

Service was terrible. Everything was too hard for the staff here, it was very disappointing

The food was simply not good. They had a very large menu and it seemed like lunch and dinner dishes were heated from frozen, overcooked or unappetizing. Breakfast was alright

I love the colonial style of the property and the tranquil location of tamarind bay. The staff are wonderful and Ketut is a delight and will assist with booking trips/scooters. They care about you having a lovely relaxing time and are proud of their Island.

The villa, being wood, really needs a meticulous clean with the vacuum. Dust etc catches in the crevices and between the shutters. I am also particularly fussy. Having been last year, a little variety in the menu would be nice. Perhaps a “special”.

Great resort with nice villas. Clean and with good facilities. Liked the breakfast and the male staff were great. Got a beautifully prepared bed because of our honeymoon, which was a nice touch.

The location isn’t great, the road leading to the resort is very bumpy and off the beaten track. It felt a bit secluded. Since there are no taxi apps on the island, sometimes somewhat harder to get around, but that’s mainly because we didn’t feel comfortable renting scooters due to the bad road. The communication of the management was very poor. Hard to reach, no pick-up service from the ferry, no check-in instructions, and for the very first time during our Bali trip we weren’t warmly received. Also with the check-out it felt like we were being ripped off, because we found out we had to pay extra for our breakfast coffee and an additional 3% of our total stay price for paying with credit card (nowhere stated on booking). After some discussion, we luckily ended up not having to pay the extra fee.

The room and the bathroom are beautifully decorated. Ketut and Milo was friendly and always helpful.

It would be nice to have a full-size mirror in the room. The "villas" face each other, which gives no privacy. We are lucky that our neighbour was quiet and was always out. However, the day we left, we had a family with babies and toddlers check in, and I was glad it was our last night; otherwise, it would be a nightmare of crying babies and no privacy at the pool either. The villas also need maintenance. Our verandah fan was broken. However, after complaining three times, they arranged for someone to fix it, and the roof was also leaking. Some of the blinds don't close properly and provide poor privacy. They asked what time we prefer breakfast. However, nobody is around the kitchen or the bar until around 9 or 10 am. Don't expect an early breakfast. This place would be fabulous, but it needs significant improvement. It is not a place with easy access, so we expect at least a fabulous service and a place. But the place let us down. :(
