White Horse Resort

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Milu with a refreshing drink and a detailed introduction to the resort. The entire team at White Horse Resort were incredibly helpful throughout our stay—organising everything from scooters to explore the island, to snorkelling trips and relaxing in-house massages. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was another highlight—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. I especially recommend the BBQ seafood plate—it was absolutely delicious! The resort is set in a peaceful, beachfront location—ideal for unwinding—yet only a short scooter ride from some fantastic restaurants and bars. It was magical watching turtles pop up for air in the crystal-clear aqua water. At low tide, we loved walking along the beach to explore nearby caves and watching the locals as they fished and searched for crustaceans.

There were just a couple of small things that could improve the stay—a full-length mirror in the room would have been useful, and we found the bed a bit too firm for our liking. However, these were minor issues in an otherwise wonderful experience.

This property is absolutely stunning. The accommodation is clean and absolutely beautiful. The beds are comfy, the bathroom is large. And on top of all of this the staff are absolutely beautiful, they made our stay so comfortable and made us feel so cared for. They helped us with where to go and organised our day trips. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.

Beautiful property, right on the water you could go out for a swim and the perfect clear blue ocean. The food was exceptional , fresh and so clean.

There was nothing not to like.

The property and staff were wonderful. Our villa was clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu had good options and was delicious. There are a few walkable cafes/restaurants in the area, but the bulk of the activity on the island requires a driver to access. It's not a deal breaker, but good to know if you want to be within walking distance of multiple food options.

The streets are mostly rough pathways, so if you want to walk to your destination, make sure to wear comfortable shoes. The other item that I discovered is that Indonesia does not have a good resouce for collecting garbage, so you'll see bags and loose garage strewn along side the roads and in people's yards. It's a jarring contrast to the pristine Villas.
