White Horse Resort

The White Horse ticks every box if you’re looking for a tranquil holiday. Just beautiful. Love waking every morning to the sounds of the birds, the ocean and on some mornings the rain.

There was nothing.

The size of the villa is great, each villa has its own entrance to the shared pool. The 30 second walk between the villa and beachfront where there is the loveliest private view to catch the cool breeze was nothing short of exceptional. Nothing was ever an effort for the staff. We had an incredible stay. We would highly recommend it, as well as eating at Kevin’s Warung 2 min walk away.

The space both internal and external is well kept and looked after however, because everything is white, it’s hard to keep spotless. The roads leading up, like most places to stay are a bit bumpy, but that’s not the property’s fault.

The food was delicious and freshly cooked. We ate almost all our meals at the resort. The menu choice was excellent and we ordered the meals in advance following breakfast or lunch, so the ingredients were fresh and meals freshly cooked. Very good wine on offer (can recommend the Australian rosés). Setting for meals, by the beach and looking out to sea - big thumbs up! The accommodation is beautifully designed and exceeded our hopes; spacious and practical and ideally located to experience Nusa Lembongan. The service is great and we left feeling like we had made friends.

There was nothing we didn't like; we loved it! We would definitely go back. I don't think we had really understood the concept until we arrived; a small resort, we were worried about not having access to facilities you might find in a hotel, but this works in a different way - if you want something, the brilliant team will make it happen (and save you money in the process!)- car hire, snorkelling trip, scooter hire, massages in your villa or by the beach? Cashpoint / ATM? Jump on the back of a scooter, and you'll be taken there! It is like having private chefs and everyone there is like a concierge, and they're all so friendly and lovely. Fast ferry, taxis, etc. all can be organised for you. Milu, Ketut and the team are amazing.

The staff were amazing and looked after us so well! They organised activities for us with no hesitation. They were incredible!

Everything. Fresh white British Colonial decor. Small resort, felt more like private villas. Staff beyond amazing, especially Milu, calm and super helpful, nothing was a problem. 3 nights were not enough, we’ll be back.

Nothing to not like.

Without a doubt this place is truly amazing , beautifully designed and appointed . It’s a stunning resort with exceptional staff . The highlight of our stay was their version of a seafood platter , this was one of the most enjoyable meals we have had anywhere ( we will come back just to have Ketut cook this again. It’s just a beautiful place !
