Villa Melati

Everything was excellent! Very clean villa and tasty food. The staff was the best, cute and friendly! Dayu and Ayu helped us to get acquinted with cultural traditions and even let us take part in traditional daily ceremonies. If you’ve never been in Bali, you should book this villa and staff-angels will help you with everything including laundry, preparing food, massage. Also our ride with the villa driver was safe, since he is very patient and recommended us good places to visit while we were in Ubud.

Washing machine and transfer from the airport is not included even pick ups/drop offs from Ubud (only centre). Every night a security guy sleeps near to your room on the floor.

Nestled in nature. The tranquility and distant sound of the running stream in the valley below. The rustic and wooden, Balinese feel of the property. The flow of space between the two villa suites and side patio and dining room. The friendly staff and great food and service. Close to the central Ubud street.

At times, some insects in the room. Maybe a net would help.

The villa has stunning views of the rice terraces and the stream below. The property is huge. The staff always complied with our requests.

The staff are sometimes too loud for this type of accommodation, chatting and laughing (actually one of them). You want to enjoy the silence and the sound of the running stream, not listen to the loud laughter of the staff. Also, there were a couple of times when there was no hot water; we had to wait for 10-15 minutes for hot water to come on.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. It’s set amongst lush jungle with total privacy.

Nothing, great place to stay on our first trip to Bali.

Amazing private location with great amenities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Recommend eating in a few nights as the food was great.

It’s a beautiful location. Very serene and the pool is clean and cool.

Be aware the 3rd bed is a separate treehouse building. Not ideal we did not use it.

We liked everything at Villa Melati ! Dayu and the staff were a pleasure to spend time around. Dayu's cooking was lovely and the buildings and gardens were utterly magical! We particularly loved the instruments in the corner of the dining room.

The only thing I think worth mentioning is that the pool chemicals felt a bit strong.
