Villa Frangipani Seminyak

Great pool, kitchen facilities and dining facilities were good.

Two Indoor Showers didn’t work, dripped water pressure and boiling hot water that would scald you. The only shower that worked was a fully outdoor shower but the electrics didn’t work in that bathroom so no lights and lots of mosquitos and bugs as there is not roof. One of the bedrooms you have to walk through the other bedroom to access it, so no privacy with those two rooms. The main bedroom was very Musky smelling and couldn’t get rid of it even with airing it out and candles.

Safe location, security at front gate. It is behind Hotel Villa Lumbung. Pool was great, staff were lovely. Plenty of space for relaxing and close to restaurants, shops, beach and nightlife

One bedroom is off another which worked for us as a family but may not suit everyone

It definitely needed repair work sheets dirty need a clean everthing wet outside staff great day 1 then didn’t see anyone again

Size of rooms and setup

So large and clean wonderful staff and location brillant

Bath and pool towels could be changed every second day and maybe bath towels need to be better quality

Villa was clean and tidy and staff responded quickly to any concerns/issues. We had a rat in the kitchen and a trap was quickly placed to the and catch it as well as the water filter being fixed quickly when broken. Villa was overall as shown in pictures.

Villa is slightly more rundown than you can see in the pictures, needs some updating across the whole Villa - especially the bathrooms. Upstairs bedrooms are connected and share a bathroom - access to second bedroom on the top floor is also only through the main bedroom or the bathroom. Good for families but not good to groups with different couples/people. Staff turned up each day unannounced and were present around property without our knowledge. Would also turn off all A/C when we were out so would be very hot when we returned and took some time to cool due to the large/open Villa spaces. BE AWARE: the Villa is not where it is shown to be on the bookings website - the address when plugged into maps is in a completely different place on a different street about 850m away so not as close to the beach as you expect. Still close to a main road and plenty of places to eat but not where it says - down a very long driveway that grab drivers sometimes find difficult to locate.
