Villa Frangipani Seminyak

The rooms were spacious, the pool was amazing and they included heaps of free bottled water but that’s where it ends.

The stairs were treacherous for little kids, 2 of the bathrooms were outside which equaled lots of mosquitos. The bathrooms facilities were calcified and old. The staff came really early (daily) to clean, and let themselves in without announcing their presence - there was no ‘do not disturb’ to stop this happening. I was often startled to open my door in the morning and find them inside cleaning (this happened a few times). They would open all the doors and windows and often not close them, letting lots of mosquitos in and also leaving the property open and insecure. The ‘extra facilities’ offered were never provided or even offered, such as the ‘free shuttle’ and the kids play area is actually in Villa Lumbung. Room service is from the bigger hotel down the road, not the actual villa. The villa is difficult to find, and a good 5-10minutes from the main road. The walk is not well lit and is uneven and next to impossible with a pram. The rooms upstairs are adjoining with a shared bathroom. There is no private access for the second adjourning room, you need to walk through the first one to get in and out (this should be clearer in the room descriptions).

Location was great, pool was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful, Dewy was very helpful, Villa was always clean and tidy

Beautiful Balinese feel, spacious and comfortable for a large group. Easy walk to cafes, resturant’s, shops. You could order room service from Villa Lumbung.

Many belongings went missing from multiple people in our group.

Rooms were beautiful.Each room its own individual style.

Showers difficult to maintain correct temperature.Was further from beach than stated.

Location and spacious rooms

Showers are not great. Plumbing issue in 2 showers, 1 ground floor onsuite and upstairs showers did not have water pressure. Showering in these 2 bathroom/showers were challenging. Hot water adjustment needs to be fixed in all showers. Water keeps on changing temperature and hard to get a stabilised temperature
