Katharos Pool Villas

Our stay at Katharos Villas was amazing. It was perfect for our family of 4 in a great location. 5 minutes walk to fresh seafood restaurants in Ammoudi Bay and 10 minutes walk to town. The villas themselves are comfortable and spacious and very well maintained. The staff, especially Francesco, are so accommodating. You can cool off in the pool or sit on your patio and watch the sunset. We will most certainly be back!

Santorini was the last leg of our 2 week European vacation. We absolutely loved this stay. The pool villa was quite spacious with all the amenities you can think of. Easy walkable access to the villa, no need to climb any stairs. Plenty of parking spots too. The splash pool was not too small like some of the others in the caldera. My kids loved spending time in the pool. The best part of the stay were the hosts - the Katharos brothers were there to help and assist us with anything we needed. It was like staying with a local greek family who knew the place and were there to guide us. Whether it be ordering breakfast, dinner, picking up anything from the store for us, renting car, booking tour, dropping us to Oia main tourist square! The location of the villas is in Oia, but 15-20 min uphill walk to the town center. I would recommend renting a car for easy to and fro from the town center or the hosts are also willing to provide drop-offs. Please do check with them. Overall an awesome stay that we will remember and cherish for a long time!

We were so amazed by the kindness and helpfulness of the managers! This was our last stop on our honeymoon trip and we are so happy we decided to stay at the villas. Seriously awesome! This was one place during our vacation where we really felt taken care of and celebrated in a meaningful way. The managers were constantly checking in on us and offering us special assistance that went above and beyond!

There was nothing we did not like but if we could add anything it would be more privacy between the pools!

It was located away about 5 min drive from the hustle of the village. a quick walk down over the hill takes you to some great restaurants with quick access to boat tours.

Kithchen was good. Location was ok .

Overall experience was bad. We paid at the hotel directly . We got mail from booking.com that cancellation charges will be applicable. The hotel owner was not ready to understand at all that he is suppossed to inform booking.com that we had made payment at hotel. We had big argument and it spoiled my evening completely . Finally he sent mail and confirmed. . next morning alex was very rude to us . There was no hot water. Water was coming very very slow and cold .in pool also water was cold. We could not enjoy what we had paid for. I really think we need to be refunded with money what we paid since overall we didnt get what we had paid for . On top of it we were treated rudely by owner alex.
