Very nice place. We’ll set out and clean. Not far from central Ubud but quiet. Staff were great.

Cute villa and very nice staff (but not the manager)

The villa that we had was on the main road. It was just terrible. A lot of noise of motorbikes and scooters at day and at night. It was like leaving in the traffic. And when you leave a big city and take a flight to Bali you want to be at peace and calm. Not sleep with earplugs… I contacted the manager after the first night, he / she never replied to me….

Ubud is a key destination in Bali for those looking to immerse themselves in its vibrant culture and picturesque landscapes. The Suci Sari Ubud, situated just 10 minutes from Ubud's center and 2.6km from the Monkey Forest, offers a quaint retreat. The villa's aesthetics, especially the bathroom, are particularly appealing, though the closets are best avoided due to a strong mold odor when opened. The service team is remarkably responsive, ensuring a pleasant stay with a choice of breakfast options. While we enjoyed breakfast at the villa for the first two days, on the third, we opted for an outdoor experience at Monsieur Spoon. Travelers should be mindful of the bustling traffic, yet the overall feeling of safety persists. However, it's wise to stay alert to the occasional reports of cell phone thefts by motorcyclists from unwary tourists. To enrich our stay, we arranged for a driver for a day, exploring the rice terraces, a temple, a waterfall, and a coffee plantation. On another day, we ventured to Virgin Beach, a journey of about two hours. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here for a truly enriching Ubud experience.

The pool was very nice The rooms were bright and spacious We appreciated the privacy The staff was very helpful, accommodating in every way (got us drivers, later checkout, …) Walkable distance to the city centre (about 15 minutes walk) It looks better than in the photos on booking

The street was a bit loud (but that’s only because of the drivers that drove too fast) The pool had a lot of chlorine in it Even though you could walk to the city centre, I wouldn’t advise this in heavy traffic or at night as there are no sidewalks and a lot of dangerous holes in the ground.

I think breakfast was good but lagged variety. English breakfast could be added with little more vegetarian options. The host was good.

Variety in breakfast is needed. Happy to pay more if they can accommodate home made food.
