Luxury Villa Ada Padi Ubud

Mr Dee made our stay a lot easier, the people at the front desk did not speak any English. The Villa was really nice and spacious, rooms were cleaned everyday.

The wifi kept playing up, it is a a bit further out so little bit harder to use grab bikes so we just hired Me Dee each day.

Great views of rice terrace,warung with nice gazebo, friendly staff.So peaceful and comfortable place.If it is difficult to search this address,you can use it's restaurant name "warung kuah pindang".

Some cushion cover had traces of mold.Please change and clean it.

The BEST part of Villa Ada Padi is definitely Mr. Dee. He was our host for a few days and thanks to him, we found a lot about Bali and Ubud. He picked us up at the airport, drove us around Ubud and even organized tours like ATV ride or Mt. Batur hiking. You can even ask him to help you with motorbike rental and reach out to him for any needs in the villa. He is a great person, very helpful and cheerful! He really made our stay pleasant! Regarding the villa itself, I'll be REALISTIC. Is it the same villa from the pics? Yes. Is it in the same state as in the pics? No - Bali has high humidity, and villa has an open concept (like most Bali villas), so the villa does need some renovation and a thorough cleaning. We didn't use the kitchen at all. Otherwise, the bedrooms are big and the beds are comfy. It's also very quiet, even though there's a local restaurant next to it (you can order coffee or breakfast here). The cleaning stuff comes daily to wipe floors, and to change sheets and towels periodically. You can even leave your laundry for washing (for a small additional fee). Note: Bathroom doesn't have doors and is fully connected with the bedroom (so make sure you're ok with that).

Now the BAD part: The biggest MINUS for me was finding a mouse swimming (for its' dear life) in the pool one evening and finding some rat poop on the bedroom floor the next day. I am scared horribly of rats, and we were lucky not to see them inside. I was aware that the villa is surrounded by jungle and rice fields, and I expected animals (yeah, even mice/rats) to walk around, but I hoped they wouldn't get inside if the doors were properly closed. Unfortunately, the bedroom doors don't fit very well in the frame, so this happened when we were away - this is just a warning for girls who are afraid as I am. Don't be afraid of lizards though, they're literally everywhere in Bali, and pretty much don't do anything, except hang on the walls 😅

Terrible wifi! Had to keep going to the restaurant and it was weak most of the time. Toilet old and needs upgrading (seat loose etc) overall need some love and new blinds in the bathroom, outdoor sun umbrella etc. Maybe a table and chair to sit at the pool? The bean bags were mouldy and covered in bugs 😪

No Separation between bathroom and bedroom

The property is very run down and outdated. Nothing like what it is shown in the photos.

Great location and environment.

Mosquito nets on the bed were great, staff were great. Dee was a great driver and very knowledgeable of Ubud.

The property, has no door from the bathroom to the bedroom, which is a little inconvenient. Also they were burning things, which the smoke would come into the room. Upstairs was infested with blue geckos and they could hear creatures in the roof which sounded like mice or rats. Also issue with hot water, we were 4 people and it only had enough hot water for the 2 people. Also when booking activities make sure to ask a round to get a price before booking, as we learnt this the hard way.
