Villa Candela

The customer support team was polite and responsive, but the condition of the villa was far below our expectations and significantly affected our holiday.

This was one of the most disappointing villa stays we have ever experienced. Upon arrival, the villa had not been cleaned properly. There was dust throughout the property, our white socks became dirty within minutes of walking inside, and a women's swimsuit had been left in the washing machine by previous guests. There was a persistent damp smell throughout the villa, while the laundry room had a particularly strong and unpleasant odour. One of the shower hoses was leaking, the washing machine was faulty, and the hair dryer originally provided was broken. The most serious issue was the cockroach problem. We found cockroaches immediately after check-in and continued finding them throughout our stay. After treating the villa ourselves with anti-cockroach products, we continued to find both live and dead cockroaches every day. This was clearly not an isolated incident but an ongoing problem within the property. Because of the smell and the cockroach issue, we had to move our children to the upper floor and completely stopped using the ground floor of the villa. We also paid extra for pool heating. However, the pool remained cold throughout our stay. During the final days of our holiday, the pool water was actually colder than the sea. Considering that we stayed in May and paid an additional fee for pool heating, this was extremely disappointing. We have serious doubts that the pool heating system was functioning properly. During our entire week at the villa, the property was not cleaned even once. The swimming pool was also never cleaned. I ended up cleaning the pool myself every day in order to keep it usable. We spent most of our time on excursions and at the beach, not only because we wanted to enjoy our holiday, but also because we tried to spend as little time as possible inside the villa.

It was in a very quiet location. Very large property and spacious.

The electric keep going off. We had to use the sockets in the bedroom to boil a kettle to make a cup of tea. Pool was freezing cold even so it's stated it was meant to be heated. The room I was in had mold on the walls. It could do with a good deep clean the whole property. There was no spare sheets, we had one change of towels. There was no toilet paper in any the bathrooms.

Location is great, plenty of places to dine in around. The villa was clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. We loved our stay!

Faltaba limpieza Entró mantenimiento a limpiar la piscina estando nosotros dentro antes de las 9.00 h. Eso no está bién porque yo me quería bañar
