Ekstremt hyggelig personell. Vi var på hotellet noen dager nesten alene, og da gjorde personellet mye ekstra for oss, som å flytte bordet til middagen ved bassenget. De ansatte var nysgjerrige på oss som individer, og det gjorde at vi følte de genuint var interessert i oss og ikke bare var interessert i å tjene penger.

Overall everything was perfect.

Very well maintained property and hotel. The staff is always ready to help with a smile on their faces. When I check-in I was offered an upgrade to one of their best villas with a pool. Very clean room and amenities. Very good and filling breakfast with a nice restaurant. Moreover, the property is just a stone throw away from the beach!

Nothing

We were warmly greeted by the staff and given an exceptional room. The hotel grounds were spotless as was the room. The pool was a great relief from the scorching sun. Everything and everyone connected to the hotel went above and beyond expectations.

Nothing not to like

I would highly suggest staying in Ayana Sea hotel instead. I was harassed by a security guard in my own balcony who kept coming closer to me, leering at me and suggested I should "cover up" and be modest and creepily mentioned he knew there was another "girl" in the room he had observed the first night. Absolutely horrific and frightening and unsafe. Only reason we left in the morning instead of right away is because it was 11pm and we were exhausted. Other than three friendly staff members, everyone was rude and unhelpful and one person tried to charge me 3x a price for transport even though ive been to Sri Lanka many times before and know the rates and then got angry at me for finding my own fairly priced car. Again, as a woman i didn't appreciate that or feel safe. Very strange because I always experience lovely hospitality in Sri Lanka. One night some sort of swarm of 50+ insects ended up in our room and only one person came to help and if i didn't insist on being given another room we would have just been left standing outside our room. For context we were paying for one of their "best villas" with a plunge pool. I woke up my last night with nearly 30+ bites from something in the bed. Avoid.
