Sandy & Salty Villas

We booked this property for our stay whilst we got married in Santorini. the staff met us at the property on arrival with a cold bottle of wine and water chilling in the fridge. the property was clean, bright and a lovely view! the host bought us breakfats in a hamper every morning which we were not expecting! really happy with the property

my only complaint, and it is not the hosts fault, would be the construction going on that is right out the back by the pool. when we were there, they were touchring a roof, whihc was very noisey and blowing very hot air towards us. they start work at 7 AM and finihs around 3 so the noise really effected us during the day time. it cannot be helped, just bad timing.

Sam domek jest naprawde piekny, obsluga wzorowa, bardzo smaczne sniadania. Domek bardzo sobrze wyposazony. Polozenie i klimat domku wyjatkowe. Jak budowa sie zakonczy bedzie ladnie znowu.

Niestety nie bylo informacji nigdzie o budowie. Zarówno widok, dla ktorego wynajelismy nieruchomosc byl zepsuty przez budowe, jak i spokoj. Byłam tym mocno rozczarowana. Kurz, halas. Generalnie ciezko wypoczywac w takich warunkach. Poczulam sie oszukana troche brakiem informacji o budowie obok.

The views were incredible, the location is absolutely perfect, & the sunsets are out of this world. It’s so central & not too busy. Feels very authentic, lots of lots local restaurants.

The stairs leading up to the mezzanine are not child friendly unfortunately, if there was a bannister going up the stairs that would make such a difference, but apart from that it’s a beautiful villa & wouldn’t stop us from staying again

the cold pool We booked this house hoping to enjoy two relaxing days by the sun and pool. Unfortunately, the pool was extremely cold and unusable for the kids, which was very disappointing. Combined with the windy weather (end of August), it wasn’t really possible to enjoy the outdoor space as we had planned. Because of this, we asked the host if we could shorten our stay by one night, but they did not agree. For the price, the experience felt quite expensive and not as enjoyable as expected. The view of the sea is nice, but it also comes with a close surrounding that feels a bit like “no man’s land,” which takes away from the overall atmosphere. To make things worse, after our stay the owner cancelled our booking retroactively, which prevented us from leaving a review through the normal booking system.

Breakfast is great, brought to you fresh everyday. The host is very responsive and helpful and the cleaner that comes daily is very good, she will do anything for you. We stayed for our honeymoon and would definitely return. The Villa itself is amazing, very accessible and the views are amazing too. Overall we could not fault a thing.

Πολύ όμορφη τοποθεσία με απεριόριστη θέα σε όλο το νησί! Ήταν όλο πεντακάθαρο! Ευρύχωρο και άνετο! Η πισίνα σε συνδιασμό με το τζακουζι ήταν τέλεια! Και ήταν ότι χρειαζόμασταν για ηρεμία σωματική και ψυχική!

We stayed in the Sandy Villa - it was exceptional. The villa itself is in beautiful condition & pristine cleanliness. Maroulia was an excellent host and nothing was too much. She organised taxis, transfers and answered any questions we had. She also gave us some excellent recommendations. We had the most magical week in the villa, it was perfect for a family - we had our 18 month old with us. The breakfast was different each day and lovely. The villa is a 5/10 min walk into pyrgos village which is a hidden gem of santorini. We are already planning our next trip back to Sandy & salty villas!
