"Great stay in a beautiful property"

Lovely, spacious house and grounds within walking distance to historic Sintra and the train station. Large comfortable beds and a bathroom for each bedroom was a huge plus. We loved the spa area. Overall, a great place for our family to relax and spend time together.

House was a bit chilly, but better after we figured out the heating system.

"Superb"

Amazing location close to Sintra. Beautiful grounds with pool and lounge areas. Impressive house. Great value for a big group. Was the perfect place for a large group of friends to get together and stay while in town to attend a wedding.

Poor communication leading up to the stay. Tried to ask questions and visit the property ahead of time to plan the visit, but couldn't get a response for months.

"Great house in a great location made it a great stay."

Great house with a lot of facilities and everything clean. Even bigger than you would suspect based on the online photos. Coffee machine was broken but within a second replaced by our host.

location is unbelievable the villa itself is regal, the bedrooms?, rooms are truly beautiful

unfortunately we did experience a hot water issue,Dantus did his very best to remedy it? it still do NOT diminish our fantastic stay

Beautiful house and location and Mr Dantas the property manager did his best to help.

The swimming pool was green and full algae when this was raised with the owner he basically said it was due to a power problem and they tried to fix it but couldnt. Also the sauna and steam room where not available to use. There is only one cleaner to do all the work of the house which is an impossible task for a quick turn around. The set up felt a bit explotative to the lovely cleaning lady trying her best. However ultimately the owner would not refund a portion of the cost due to non use of all the listed facilities but he did offer a reduction if I booked again which I didn't think was fair. Booking.com customer support on this issue was absolutely Kafkaesque and a waste of time as they did not do anything to recover the sums owed as compensation for not having all the facilities listed that should have been available to use as that is what the price per night includes.
