The Residence Bentota

Very spacious room with fridge/freezer, gas cooktop stove, and balcony looking over the pool and gardens. The grounds are well maintained and the staff very helpful and friendly. You can opt for breakfast at the property (fruit, eggs, toast etc). As they don’t have a restaurant on site, a tuk tuk is free of charge to take you somewhere for lunch and dinner. Close walk to the beach where there are plenty of options for surfing and snorkelling. The gates are closed early for security and you have a key to allow you access through a side gate.

No toiletries or soap to wash hands with.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also offer free TukTuk rides to nearby restaurants.

The property is excellent to stay with a small swimming pool and a pleasant garden

The surrounding of the room which we were given was some what not clean and full of bushes. The view from the balcony was not pleasant as the surrounding was not clean. But the rooms were clean and good enough for the paying money. Further, the lights inside the room was not enough for the activities. No television available inside the room. Kitchen was furnished well with the necessary equipments

This is a hidden gem in a beautiful garden setting and a large pool to cool off and relax in. We had trouble with the air con one night but they fixed it immediately. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It's also in a great location close to the beach and a short drive into town. I recommend it as a top place to stay.

The pool, the gardens 😎 very friendly staff 👌 excellent location with small supermarket within 5 minutes walk 🚶‍♂️ plenty of restaurants nearby especially Baboos Restaurant with fantastic freshly prepared meals and friendly staff. Overall would definitely stay again and would highly recommend 👌

Could definitely do with a woman's touch with the cleaning and a spruce up on the decorating.
