The Residence Bentota

Both the manager as well as the staff (Suni) were extraordinary kind and helpfull. Without asking we were upgraded . The former colonial place has several fantastic renovated villa’s and the mansion (main building that has rooms as well) is renovated and reminds the classic colonial luxurious period, including the original design furniture. The clean and big swimmingpool located in the very well maintained beatifull garden has an osmose-system so no chloryds are used for the water. Overall a great place to stay with incredible value for money!

The staff was very approachable and hospitable. We had a comfortable stay for a family of 3. The rooms were spacious and it was a good sleep. If in Bentota again I would definately stay over, eveything is near about and hence a good and comfortable stop over.

Really lovely property, great location walking distance to the beach. Staff were extremely helpful, boys loved the pool. Facilitated early check in with no problem. Great value for money

The grounds are beautiful

The villa was filthy we didn’t stay the whole night we left 10pm it’s thick of mould even the pillows had mould on them Shame as it’s a beautiful setting the pool is lovely but the villa yuk no ac downstairs millions of bugs everywhere inside as gaps in windows and doors No curtains to windows so creepy Shame as it could be a great place it has potential Spiral staircase is a hazard

If you are planning to stay and cook, the kitchen doesnt have all the supplies for cooking a simple meal.

The pool, place was lovely only stayed one night.

Nothing
