Oma Villa Seminyak - Private Pool In Quiet Central Location

The location is very good being close to the centre of Seminyak

The property has not been maintained and is very run down. There is a tarpaulin over the roof. Toilets and kitchens need a make over. The house was dry grimy and at night there were many rats OIM kitchen and the cupboards.

The location was great. The housekeeper Jenni was fantastic and did everything possible to try and solve any issues

The villa pool broke its pump so we were unable to use the pool for 4 days which was very disappointing. We requested another hairdryer between 5 girls but this request was not met. A large rubbish dump greeted us everyday near the front of the villa. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are totally dangerous to get to with totally inadequate and dangerous stairs. Bathrooms were not cleaned during our 6 day stay and lighting was very dark. It has a beautiful sense of style but very run down.

The location was good, rooms large. Bathrooms nice. Very clean, kitchen and living space nice. Lovely pool. Great stay.

5th bedroom was up a 2nd long ladder (loft style) with no door for privacy. Also shares bathroom of 4th bedroom.

The Size of the Property was amazing. Very relaxing outdoor area and swimming pool. It is tucked away off the busy streets, but within easy walking distance to everything.

We booked location due to the size of our party. The challenge we had though was most of us were middle aged and climbing the stairs to the upper rooms and with bags was quite challenging. If booking for a large party to use all the rooms, I would recommend only the young and more fit.

The villa is in a great location once you could find it, within easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants. The open plan living area and pool are a great space for bigger groups and the decor is lovely

Lack of signage on the lane way and the villa so everyone gets lost. Staff lounging on furniture on arrival and other days and did not come at all on one day. The villa is desperately in need of some TLC - bits falling off roof and covered in a tarp, holes in decking & pool furniture. Crisper in fridge does not fit keeping door from closing properly we removed it and staff replaced it every day so we would come home to warm drinks. The villa is very, very dirty especially the kitchen, door handles broken, lack of hangers. Only 1 key for potentially 10 guests does not work.

the property is beautiful and I loved the boho styling. the bedrooms are comfortable and the living space is nice and open overlooking the gorgeous pool! the location is ideal - just a short walk to the main strip in seminyak so easy to get to shops and some lovely restaurants. we were well received and had easy contact with the hosts.

although we didn’t need to use the upstairs the steps were steep and care is needed when going down.

Cleanliness wasnt up to the mark

Property was in the right area, strategic and close to all the main shops, bars and eating areas. There are 5 rooms although the room on the top most is the smallest and you’d have to climb very steep stairs daily to get into the room which also doesn’t have a bathroom. As there was a lot of plants around, there were also a lot of mosquitoes and on the last night, as it started raining a lot, cockroaches started to come out. Nonetheless the hosts were really very accommodative and tried to help and answer as quickly as they could. They also helped to keep our luggages before check in time and after check out time for few hours but asked for a small tip as well.

The location of this airbnb really isn’t so good when it comes to calling GoCar or GoJek to pick you up. Most of the time, they always get lost as the airbnb is in a very small dark lane and there is no signage for someone to know they need to turn into that small dark lane. So often, we need to walk out on the main street to be picked up or pick up our food if we ordered online. Something management can improve on is to make better signage’s so people won’t get lost trying to find the airbnb. Secondly, I did get bed bug bites on my first night there, I don’t think the sheets were too clean. I requested for them to be changed in my room and they did but i still did see small dirt on the bedsheets and pillow cases despite it being changed. At least the bed bugs bites stopped. The aircond on the lower floor of one of the rooms also doesn’t work properly. Ended up waking up in the middle of the night often sweating. That really needs to get checked as it was quite uncomfortable to sleep in.
