Ambermoon Villas

Its another world in the villa, if you are expecting hotel, that is not it. Bit if you want freedom, closer to bali vibe, yes.

The Villa was in a great location with very nice top end furniture and the pool was amazing. The area was very quiet so it was very relaxing and private.

The incidental things in the Villa, kettle, cookware, glasses etc. and the Soaps, Shampoos and Bath Soak in the Bathrooms, and things for the Kitchen like Salt and Pepper, were really cheap looking, and watered down. In a Villa as beautifully decorated at Ambermoon with the amount we paid, which is on the higher end of what we would normally pay, you would expect nicer incidentals and higher end soaps and shower gels. The Showers themselves need something to clean them to remove the hard water stains. Finally, there were at least 6 Balinese staff who were definitely friendly, but could not speak hardly any English at all. This presents a problem if you need a hand with something and they don't understand what you want. We have stayed in at least 25 different Villas in that area of Bali and in all other cases, the staff who came in to clean or to assist spoke very good English. We found this a bit frustrating.
