Villa Tara Christina

The villa has everything you could need. Each bedroom is en-suite, 2 with walk in showers, one with a shower-over-bath. It is spotlessly clean. the owners had left an array of supplies (wine, fruit, bread etc.) which was much appreciated as our flight was quite delayed and all shops were closed when we arrived. They provided loads of advice about what to do in the area, and a list of recommended restaurants. The kitchen was very well equipped and we used the bbq several times. The pool was fabulous- plenty of loungers and towels provided. There is a small supermarket and a a few bars/restaurants a short walk (less than 5minutes) from the villa, and plenty more within a 10-15 minute walk. The beach is about 10 minutes walk away- (downhill and steep stairs- which you obviously need to climb back up on your return!). We had 2 older people in our group, so walking to restaurants wasn’t really an option, but an uber into Carvoiera cost about €5-6, and they were very easy to get at all times of the day. All in all, I can’t really fault this villa- an absolute gem. We will be back!

Exceptionally clean and every room had an ensuite. Lovely roof terrace and swimming pool. Lots of parking in private drive. The host was excellent to deal with and gave links to many restaurants and days out.

Excellent property, very clean, lots of items provided such as towels, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products & food/drink. Excellent location, easy walk to shop, bar, restaurant & beach. Will be returning.

We were met at the property by the host, Andy, who was charming and who provided us with an abundance of tips and recommendations for our stay. Our hosts had also left an array of provisions for breakfast, including lovely fruit. They also left some beer and wine. All three bedrooms have ensuites and there were plenty of towels for the pool. The pool and terrace areas are outstanding and we used the BBQ most days when not eating out. We had a car but thoroughly enjoyed walking to the beaches and along the cliffs. The house exceeded our expectations and we would happily return. Earth Cafe which is a short walk away was a real find as was A Gale restaurant.

The host was very kind and generous. They prepared all the essentials ie. Eggs, bread, milk wine, etc. on our arrival. He was very responsive and provided loads of information about the area. The pool was fantastic, and watching the sunset on the rooftop was amazing. The place was spotless. We had a fantastic week stay.

A little bit out of the way but still lovely

The stay was perfect right from the start. Andy met us at the accommodation, was very friendly and helpful and handed over the keys after giving us a short tour of the villa. We were also left with a bowl of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, milk, wine and beers, which was brilliant as we arrived quite late and that sorted us all for breakfast. The rooms were large and the en-suite bathrooms were clean. Lounge area is spacious and the sofas are very comfortable. Kitchen was big enough to prepare food and cook in, and had all kitchen appliances you need and more. Roof terrace is lovely in the morning, amazing views and gets direct sunlight all day. Pool is a good size and there are plenty of sun loungers and outdoor furniture. We had an amazing time and would have loved to have stayed longer. Would definitely book here again.
