Villa Tara Christina

The property was very comfortable and spotless. There was plenty of relaxing chairs outside by the pool and also on the roof terrace.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

A clean swimming pool and pool area, spacious and clean rooms, located at the end of a quiet cul-de-dac and positioned behind locked entrace gates.

Nothing comes to mind.

The house was wonderful, very clean and well stocked with towels, shower gel (not shampoo fyi), charcoal for the bbq etc. The kitchen has all the basics also which saved us buying things like oil, butter, salt & pepper. Andy was very quick to respond to any questions we had and recommended good supermarkets ('Apolonia'- 12 min drive, incredible meat, cheeses, bread) and restaurants in the area. We rented a car but you could survive without one as there is a medium sized Spar, beach, and nice restaurants within 10-15 minute walk ('Helders' restuaruant for causul and fresh meal or 'Lighthouse Bar & Grill' for fancier evening out). An Uber into the nearest town Carvoeiro is around 5 euro each way and they are always close by.

Property was in a beautiful location with views of the hillside from the front and side yard and the pool was private and could be seen from 2 of the bedrooms. The baths were clean and the beds comfortable. It was great to have a private bath attached to each bedroom. Hosts were great and had a notebook of useful information on suggested restaurants and places to see along with other books about best walking trails and beaches. They also provided wine and beer, juice, milk to start as well as a lovely fruit bowl. The pantry was well stocked with condiments and the basics needed to cook and was well stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, utensils etc. They were quick to respond when we asked for advise on how best to see the Benagil Cave and when we needed help with getting the WiFi to work. Would stay there again for sure!

Nothing

The villa was amazing nothing could have made it any better. The location was quiet but it wasn't far to walk to a shop or restaurant. The owner Andy was really helpful and provided us with the basics in the kitchen (bread, milk, butter etc) and also provided us with suggestions of places to visit.

The owners are really really great if you need anything they are there to help right away. The villa is amazing, quite but also walking distance to couple shops bars and restaurants. The views from the roof are exceptional and the sounds of the birds are beautiful 10/10 and we will definitely be coming back. As other guests have said the hamper provided for when you arrive is above and beyond everything you need plus more.

Welcomed by friendly owners with basic groceries, fruit and beer. Quiet, comfortable and well stocked property with nice pool and roof top patio. Excellent location for walking to nearby coves, cliffs and restaurants, as well as exploring the Algarve by car.

We had a great holiday stay from start to finish. Andy is a superb host. We really enjoyed the welcome pack and availed of all of Andys' recommendations of local restaurants and activities. The villa is spotless and has everything for a family stay. The pool was a great place to chill out.

The villa is very comfortable with more than you need. The owner is very kind and helpful by feeding the fridge and offering fruits.
