Second house TOYA / Vacation STAY 291

It was a nice house, super close to the lake and very quiet at night. Spacious, refined and all worked well. I loved it and it was cheaper than an hotel.

Bring your own pillow. I travelled with a friend so we couldn't share the double bed, and I took the foldable bed prepared on the side but all the pillows of the house were so high I could not sleep due to neck discomfort all night. I pretty much had a sleepless night. There is also a tatami room to be used, but the issue for me was the height of the pillows.

1. Location

1. The check in pass code of the door key was given just 70mins before arrival. Why can't it be a day earlier? 2. Booking .com specified 3 rooms villa includes 1 room in 2F and 2 rooms in 1F but we cannot access the room upstairs. Was told by owner that booking.com has been informed months ago that this villa in 2BR and the booking site was not corrected. See attached msg. 3. How can 2 married couples and another friend stay in just 2 BR? 4. Parking is away from house front 5. Would be nice if washing machine has a simple translation Jap/English instruction sticked on it.

The host is very helpful. The location is super good.

The communication system of Booking.com is too troublesome that caused a big problem during the checkin process. I contacted the customer service but didn't get help from them. I almost failed to checkin.

Clean and comfortable traditional Japanese house. Free parking nearby. Central location .

Spacious and well equipped, air conditioning was available which is good for hot summers. Location was great - 3 min walk to the lake and very close to restaurants and convenience stores, although it is on the main road so you can hear cars passing by. Host was very responsive.

Property is a bit old, towels had a weird smell perhaps they weren’t dried properly.

The check in went very smooth, the instruction is very clear. The place is quite spacious. It has all the amenities we need: stove, dishes, washing machine, towels. The tatami bedroom is very nice.

The place has quite old style furniture. And we think that the cleanliness can be improved.

The location was good... parking was also available free of charge a short distance away.... the house was adequately stocked with many appliances on hand

A bit run down and the room right in front can be a bit noisy, probably because it was facing the main street... had a scare when the pin lock to the mail box (where the house key is kept) didn't work properly.
