Casa Mainotti - Villa in Mani

This is a comfortable and very well equipped property situated in lovely gardens above the main Areopolis to Kalamata road. The road can get quite busy and there is an excellent taverna across the road from the house which is very convenient. The house is comfortable and has a great kitchen/living space, master bedroom and shower/bathroom on the first floor. I didn’t use the downstairs at all but I believe there is a second bedroom on the lower floor. The bedroom was spacious, has a very comfy bed and a lovely balcony. I enjoyed my stay.

The check in is 3 pm or later and check out is stated as 11 am. I was having my breakfast in the garden before leaving and the housekeeper arrived before ten and started preparing for the next guests’ arrival. I asked why she had arrived so early as I was still enjoying my stay and asked if she would come back at 11., which she did. I felt that I was being ‘pushed out’ early and felt uncomfortable. I had planned to book the house again for later that week for another 3 nights as the house was vacant. However, I decided not to for this reason. Notwithstanding this slight disappointment, I enjoyed staying at the villa and would recommend it. I hope to stay again in the future. If guests don’t like to hear a lot of barking dogs at night, I would recommend they take ear plugs.

The house is simply amazing. Beautifully located with extraordinary views incl sunsets. It's got all the amenities as well. A nice taverna or 2 are located in walking distance.

On the balcony, the music of the taverna at the other side of the road is clearly audible. It was slightly disturbing. Other than this everything was simply great!

Renovated house, very clean, comfortable with great sea view.

Nice view, great balcony, kitchen and outdoors. Thank you for the snacks, coffee, water and juices. Good amenities overall.

The bedroom door and bathroom door are too loud when closing and opening. The flushing sound of the toilet is also very loud. The house is very close to the main road so the noises from the street are disrupting for light sleepers who want to sleep with the window open. Oh and when I went to use the shower the water was coming out the wrong way, behind the shower telephone hoseso that needs some attention.

The house is brand new and equipped with all the comfort. Very modern in both furnishings and appliances. Perfectly clean, we found attention to detail in everything. Even the outside area has everything you need to enjoy pleasant evenings, with the sea in the background. The area is very quiet, you can easily relax. There are typical tavernas very close to the house, where we found excellent greek food. The hosts are very kind and always helpful.

Not very close to beaches and supermarkets

Beautiful location, breathtaking views and a gorgeous house with plenty of outdoor spaces and everything that you need inside for a comfortable stay. It is on a quiet village, but you still have 3 traditional taverna all within less than 10 minutes walk, so if you feel like eating out you don’t need to take the car.

We had an amazing experience in Casa Mainotti!The villa is new,extra clean and in an ideal location:We explore some magnificent beaches around and all surrounding villages are so picturesque!You have everything you need to cook your own meal in the villa and a very cozy ambience.We loved the view,especially during sunset.It’s also pet friendly,and the dog loved the huge garden!Margarita is very responsive and extremely helpful.We will definitely come back very soon,we really loved every aspect of our stay!
