Gaia Residence, Peristerona, Polis Chrysochous

This villa is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a place to completely switch off. With everything you need in one place I couldn’t think of anywhere better to stay.

That I can’t live & work from here. Just kidding. Only thing is. If you wanted to go for dinner & drinks you will need to get a taxi ..

We loved this villa, the relaxation it provided in extremely hot weather was really appreciated. We were in Cyprus for a wedding in July and we are not very hot weather seekers. I don’t like to overuse air con and the villas air con worked so well in the main room that you could keep your bedroom doors open and not have any on in the bedroom, therefore quieter. The villa was perfectly and very surprisingly stocked so much so I had to ask if there was an honesty box! The beds were very comfortable and the swimming pool and gardens were so beautifully located. Indeed the location of the villa was perfect for us, yes nothing walkable in the heat, but a lovely little restaurant at the bottom of the hill a short drive away. I really appreciated this coastal area of Cyprus so different to the door to door hotels of Pathos. Of course having 5 cats at home between us we loved having some well fed cared for felines living around the house and gardens. On next visiting Cyprus this would definitely be my first choice to stay rather than the 5 star hotels we have stayed in before, a really well cared for home from home, just better 😊

Nothing, all was perfect

A little paradise in Paphos! 🏡 Spacious yard, private pool, and a veranda with breathtaking views of the sunset and the bay of Polis Chrysochous. A lush garden filled with trees, herbs, and vegetables, while the wonderful host welcomed us with a fully stocked fridge and homemade fanouropita cake. Our son loved the outdoor spaces, the resident cat family, and the Ferrari book he discovered. Peaceful, private, surrounded by nature, and only 15 minutes from Polis Chrysochous. Highly recommended… though we secretly hope it stays our little secret so we can still find available dates!

The house is beautiful, the rooms are big and beds are comfortable, with private bathrooms and direct access to the garden from each room. Everything is super green and well taken care of, and the pool is big and really great. Niki was always available and helpful, and she left us food and drinks which was really thoughtful. You can feel her hospitality and care in every corner of the house. The kitchen was much better equipped than we expected, and there’s so much space and lovely little spots around the house. The view is incredible, and the sunsets were just wow. The sweet cats around the place were such a nice bonus. it really felt like home away from home

We loved Gaia residence!! It is such a beautiful, spotless, comfortable place, with an amazing pool and view. The vila has absolutely everything you could need for a week, much much more than your typical hotel or Vila - the kitchen is far better equipped than my home kitchen ;) Niki the owner was super helpful and generous, providing lots of extras to make us feel welcome and helping with information too. This is definitely the best Vila we have been to. Warmly recommended!!

Beautiful location. Spacious, modern, clean. The pool is fantastic. The views in the day and at night are spectacular. The fridge was stocked by Niki on our arrival which really started our stay off well. Local towns are close with a choice of supermarkets / pharmacies. Aircon / Netflix / Prime. Lots of restaurants and beaches close by (driving). We recommend the beaches close by the Baths of Aphrodite. Park by the restaurant and walk down the cliff steps and swim in the Mediterranean.

Absolutely nothing

The honesty of the previous reviews, gave us no doubt that Gaia would meet our expectations!! On arrival we were all very impressed with how the villa looked on both outside and the inside, we were met with fresh groceries and both a wine and spirit collection that I challenge anyone host to match!! The property was laid out well, with enough privacy for the 6 adults using the villa, the pool and roof terrace particularly at night were quite simply amazing. Niki our host, was very easy to get in touch with and prompt in replying with our requests, her hospitality and warmth are second to none. We were fortunate enough to meet both Niki and her husband Mario (a really happy chap), who clearly both loved what they do. With that, we will be back and cannot recommend Gaia high enough!! Also cannot forget Ginger and the other cats of the residence, very friendly.

Amazing view of Chrysochous Bay. Very private & quiet. Excellent pool. Coffee on the rooftop terrace in the mornings. Well maintained garden. Lots of birds overhead, especially the Bee Eaters. Polis town is close by and has everything you could need, and a couple of tavernas at the bottom of the hill. But we just loved hanging out at the Villa. We started planning our next trip the day we arrived. Nikki responded quickly to any texts and nothing was too much trouble. I do miss having a pet cat now I'm home, as well as my pool. Will definitely be back.

The listing on booking.com is very accurate so I can't complain. Everything was as we wanted it to be when we booked.
