Beautifully (and fully) restored cottage (2 bedrooms and brand new kitchen. Super quiet and wonderful garden. Great location - 3/4 minute walk to the main street

Great staff and location. The cottage had great facilities.

Bed was dippy and uncomfortable. I had a sore neck and a headache 2 nights in a row. Big dust bunnies under the bed.

The building and gardens are abosolutely gorgeous and very well done up. The cottage is spacious, the bedroom/living area warmed up with the heating on but it did take a little while. It was the perfect location for us as we did the Shiraz Parkrun on the Saturday morning which went right past our door. The hosts communication prior to arrival was very good including answering my questions. They kindly left a complimentary bottle of bubbles for us but as we weren't able to drink a whole bottle between us, we left it unopened.

We weren't aware that we could have a free wine tasting and discount off the price of any wines purchased until we happened to call into the cafe. However, the wine tasting didn't come with any commentary or information. Unfortunately, the bathroom was quite cold and the heater didn't warm the room up enough to enjoy a soak in the beautiful claw foot bath. Inside the cottage was really clean but when we arrived the patio was littered with bird droppings, however, the next day it was all cleaned up so I could enjoy sitting out there in the sunshine.
