Oxenberry Farm

Accommodation was very nice. Location was great, short walk into town and close to all wineries. Breakfast at the cellar door was great, so too the coffee.

McLarenvale is a great area worth visiting.

The so-called farm cottage is on a main road so there's lots of traffic noise - not conducive to sleeping. The cottage is tired, lacks charm and in need of renovation. A bottle of sparkling wine and tea and coffee-making facilities supplied but otherwise strangely mean without even basics like tissues. The threadbare towels sum up the aesthetic.

Gorgeous room - loved the rustic cottage aesthetic and the bathroom was beautiful! Got a free bottle of sparkling on arrival, and room was well heated and comfortable in Winter.

It was a bit hard to lock the room with the big key (it’s one of those vintage looking ones) but the smaller lock underneath was easy. Not a problem for me but my partner did have to duck every time he crossed the bathroom doorway!

Beautiful, country, classy style. Loved the open fire, and it was on the walking/ cycling track, which we walked all the way into Willunga.

I didn’t have breakfast organised, due to being there beginning of week.

Very comfortable, cute cabin. Lovely amenities. It was great to just walk across to the wine tasting cellar. The cellar also provided a beautiful breakfast.

The property was excellent. Felt like you were miles away but walking distance to the main street. So so relaxing and the host Matteo was excellent, bar staff Harry was a five star with his manners with us and had nice chats with the owners dad Phillip. All in all a fantastic stay. Also, very close to other wineries, short drive to Hahndorf and also the coastal beaches.
