"An oasis"

It's the most stunning location. Fabulous views of wineries, beautiful gardens to relax in. Incredibly well appointed. Very handy cafe with good food. Very friendly staff. We loved being here and will return.

We arrived in the dark and couldn't find our cottage, so maybe better signage needed. A phone call to our friendly hist soon had that sorted..

"Generally good, but could have been better."

The property was clean and tidy. The property was close to walking tracks and town centre. Booked breakfast was very good and the service was great on the Saturday.

Had booked for 3 adults, but the second bedroom was locked on arrival had to call to have unlocked. Pedler cottage is more basic that other stone heritage cottages. Heater was not working, had to call for help a second time, staff member friendly but could not fix the problem. Service at breakfast not so friendly on Sunday morning.

"Pretty old refurbished cottage"

Old cottage nicely appointed in a pretty garden.

Very dark at night driving home from a restaurant because there is no outside lighting from the road. All light switches in the cottage are away from the bed on the wall. It is very dark getting to the bathroom at night as there are no bedside lamps ...suspended lights have switches too far away from the bed. There is a partly fitted out kitchen but no means to heat food. It would be nice to have some bathrobes.

"Gorgeous stay"

Location was perfect, close to walking track & local amenities. Lovely accommodation overlooking garden walking track & vines. Easy drive to wineries & the coast.

No dishwashing sink in cottage. Seems pretty unusual to use the bathroom sink to wash used glasses & plates.

"The best place for a getaway in a beautiful part of the world."

Gorgeous location. Quiet cottages, with an excellent cellar door and cafe. Excellent selection of gluten free options, and allergy treated with seriousness. The food was exceptional! And the Bath tub!?! My 187cm frame was so happy to fit inside completely!
