"Beautiful heritage accommodation in a great location."

9.0

The Barossa Cottages are in a great location not too far from a number of Barossa Valley towns. The Stables provided 2 large queen bedrooms, a large bathroom (with an excellent shower) & kitchen/lounge/dining area. We didn't get to use the wood fire but it would be lovely & cosy in Winter. The outside area was lovely too. A nice spot to sit outside & enjoy the sun & some Barossa Valley wine!

The lounge suite wasn't that comfortable. The water from the kitchen sink came out in the bathroom if you let it out too fast.

Quality fit-out, very comfortable and well maintained. Attentive hosts who had ensured the property was stocked with all that the guests would need. Really appreciated a hair dryer with a diffuser! First time for this curly haired girl 🄳

"We had a brilliant time for the week we were there."

8.0

Quaint 1890s converted stables with a lot of authentic traits. Loads of character all in very pleasant surroundings. Very close to larger towns like Anguston. Lots of history in the area.

There were problems with the kitchen plumbing coming up in the bathroom when the sink was let out. We informed the owners.

"Perfection is on the details"

9.0

Travelled as a couple, during the Easter break, for 3 nights, 30 degree days, stayed at the Hayloft cottage. The Hayloft was adorable. It consists of a little dining area, followed by a very nice kitchen and at the top of the stairs a quaint room with plenty space for luggage. Outside, a lovely shared courtyard with plenty tables, chairs and a barbecue. The hosts really put some effort on making this a special stay. The kitchen had all the necessary items and more (note there is no oven). A coffee machine (Audi pods) and a milk frother were the highlight. They also added a basket with breakfast and snack items. Amazing! My partner enjoyed every little thing. The shower alcove had shampoo/conditioner and body washer dispenser. No plastic containers. Well done! Shower pressure was excellent, water warmed quickly. The bed was soft and comfortable and the split air conditioner in the bedroom worked very well. Mind you, even in the 30 degree days, the bottom section of the cottage was nice and cool. TV and wifi are available, hence Netflix and chill is an option. Springton is small and quiet, but conveniently located at a small driving distance from larger towns. There is plenty to see and do in the area. I suggest watching the sunset from the Eden Valley lookout. Amazing!! I really enjoyed this cottage and would return it in a heartbeat. Fiona and Mark you should be proud of what you have done with the place.

Excellent location in a small town right in the heart of the Barossa. A short drive to all the main attractions. Lovely cottage, with extra touches. The hosts were very informative and easy to deal with.

"A very relaxing stay in the heart of winter in a charming cottage."

10.0

A very relaxing place to stay with a romantic wood stove and a gorgeous garden. Information from the hosts about things to do in the area was great. A lovely welcome basket in the kitchen with snacks and breakfast ideas. The local markets, hotels for meals and cellar doors were fabulous too.

Didn't like the fact that our long weekend was over and we had to pack up and go home back to the rat race.
