Villa Carmen Lanzarote

Very well-appointed, spacious and well-equipped. Was very comfortable and clean; just a short walk to plenty of facilities.

Minor - no facility (freezer or freezer compartment) for ice. No information book for the villa and local area/islands

Spacious, very homely, well stocked , comfy beds . Sun loungers were welcomed although there could have been 4.

Obtaining the key and returning the key

This place is amazing, it has a nice warm vibe to it and is lovely and home like, there is a full kitchen with everything you can imagine needing. Lots of sheets and towels, it is lovely and clean, washer dryer worked great so did the dishwasher. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. Main indoor and outdoor areas are spacious, well kept and well furnished. It is a 10 minute walk to the busy areas and there is a supermarket round the corner. It is nice and quiet and private too. Pool is great but a bit small for doing lengths if thats your thing. There was a welcome water, wine and cheese and biscuits in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The keys are kept at Vitalclass hotel, which would not be an issue except there is a taxi to the property included in the booking for free, The taxi is booked directly to go the the villa, not the hotel, so if you are not careful you will end up walking back to the hotel to collect the keys, then back to the villa. We saw this in reviews so took the taxi to the hotel instead then walked to the villa with the keys. It is a 10 minute walk, which if you are older with bags may be a problem. 2 minutes by taxi. Some nights were a little cold, maybe an oil filled radiator? The property was hard to identify in the dark, i would suggest putting it on Google maps. Also a number on the gate to the property would be good and a map of the complex with the villa location.

This is our second visit to Villa Carmen. As last year the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The lounge/dining area is comfortable and large enough for a family. The 2 bedroon annex at the side is perfect if you have older teenage children. The villa is set in a quiet residential area of Costa Teguise but still close to restaurants (5 minutes walk) and the beach, Playa Bastian, (10 minutes walk.). We are planning to come back again next year.

Nothing to dislike.

Very roomy villa. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Large fridge and plenty of crockery and glasses. Three bathrooms. Drying area.

Pool was too cold to use. Single set of keys provided. Key pick-up and drop off was from an hotel 12 minute walk away, and the hotel were not well organised.

The villa was lovely, spacious and comfortable. It was a good location, about 20 min walk from the main square.

The photos don’t do the villa justice. It’s a lovely base for your holiday. Collecting the keys from the Vitalclasse hotel was very simple and took 2 minutes. Location was good, supermarket, beach and restaurants all within a 10 minute walk maximum. The front terrace is beautiful sun trap from mid morning onwards. I will be booking this villa again in the future.

An extra couple of sun loungers would’ve been nice. Considering it sleeps upto 6.

Perfect location, close to amenities but far enough away from the beach to be quiet. Lots of space and a really nice kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. Outside space is wonderful for al fresco dining and just sitting, readng a book or relaxing.

Better coffee machine would be nice, maybe a pod or bean system? Some of the plug points didn't appear to work, can they be checked please?

Specious and clean,easy to find in a quiet part of Teguise. Good off road parking and a number of bars and restaurants nearby. If you don't mind a 25 minute walk (or 10 minute drive) to the main beach, its a good place to stay.

If it had air conditioning it would have been perfect.
