YerbaBuena Lodge

Superb lodge.

During our stay it was really windy in monteverde. The wind noise in the room and branches falling in our roof made us awake too many times.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the hammock in the room and the fact there were plenty of power plugs to charge with. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was excellent. Room had fridge and coffee maker but liked the shared kitchen and lounge in another building if wanting to prepare meals to save money. The lodge was in a gated area and felt very safe. Loved the large yard area for wildlife and bird spotting, and it was the perfect distance to walk to the major reserves and attractions.

Honnetement l’un des meilleurs endroits où on a séjourné. Hyper chaleureux. Le salon cuisine qui est un bâtiment à part est super bien. On voit la nature et des bestioles le matin au petit déjeuner. Le top!

El entorno

Location was brilliant - only 2 minutes drive to Curi Cancha reserve, and under 10 minutes to Monteverde reserve. Really lovely bungalows in very well kept beautiful garden. Comfortable bed , great hot shower, fridge and coffee making facilities. I cannot comment on the communal kitchen as we didn’t use it. The staff drew our attention to beautiful birds when they came to the garden, and a monkey with her baby. Stella’s was a Great cafe restaurant almost opposite; there was a grocery right next door. Monteverde night walk was also incredibly close by. Note though Selvatura is on the other side of Santa Elena

Light was too low in the rooms to read easily. It was cold at night when we visited in February- but the staff brought us a fan heater when we asked for it.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gross. Auch die Gemeinschaftsküche war schön und gut ausgestattet.
