Overall pool and house needs maintenance but that‘s marginal in light of the reasonable pricing

The property is amazing, it is big, comfortable, clean, amazing views, the pool is not huge but it was big enough for my three kids to play in it. The manager of the house is always ready to help you, they accommodate our schedule for my husband to work an extra hour in the house, they keep the property sharp and they are super nice. It is secure and there are three different houses you can stay in. I loved it!

Mm.. the road we took to arrive to it, I think it was Google maps the problem not the property. If it was me I will suggest to get to Soriana market first and then Google the address instead of looking for the other hotel they recommend because it took us to the bad crazy long road.

The property was only about 10-15 minutes outside of Oaxaca City but it felt worlds away. The space is gorgeous, there is a lovely walk along the ridge that you can do to see birds and incredible views, and everything is ecofriendly. Humberto was responsive whenever we had a question. Laura cooked us several meals in the kitchen, highly recommend having a home cooked meal by Laura!

The normal amenities were not made available, I had to go above and beyond, as the guest to get cooking services that are normally made available and the chef was out of town so we were limited. I wish we had known that the chef and English-speaking staff members would be gone while we were there. It did make everything more complicated. Also, the wifi was out the entire time and the beds were very hard and not particularly comfortable.

Beautiful views of Oaxaca, relaxing stay, great facilities and room with everything you could want in there. Pool was lovely to relax in in the morning and the place is really pretty and sustainable. Host was easily contactable with the lovely Humberto on site to help if needed. We checked in a little early and little late which was very kind. Really cute resident cats came to say hello and chill with us on a few of the days.

Whilst the location is relaxing and the views are incredible, I think this location probably is better if you hire a car (4 by 4 as there’s a lot of rugged tracks) in hindsight as it offers more flexibility in being able to come and go through out the day. Otherwise you’re paying for 20 minute taxis (£8 each way) to and from the Oaxaca town which for us, meant we didn’t want to keep coming back and forth and had to plan to be out for specific times. The owners of the place did make getting taxis easy if this is what you choose however as there is a guy we whatsapped arranging taxis which was v easy
