Perfect for our family to get together ....shame it rained all weekend.

Curtains could do with some attention. Not many were hanging correctly. Disappointed that the gardens have been neglected as it is an amazing property

The place was spacious enough for our group of 14. Enough bathrooms and toilets. Sitting and dining was spacious to fit the group.

We were given an incorrect entry password in the email before we arrived. Had to call the property manager to get the correct entry password. Several days before we arrived I called the host phone given in the conformation email, left message but no response. At 1.30 pm we came into a freezing house. If heating was turned on from 7 - 11 AM (as we were told by property manager) the guests would arrive in a warm home or else we should be able to control heating. We doubt heating was turned on in the morning. Poor cleanliness. We were charged for cleaning on departure so we should have received the establishment in a clean condition. A little bit of TLC would go a long way for this home. Toilets, shower cubicles, taps in kitchen, pantry shelves need proper cleaning. Some exit mould spray on bottom edges of shower cubicles would have done the job. There were dead insects in several rooms. It’s an old house contrary to photos. A lot of short comings TV not working, Pool room not available. We should have been told about these shortcomings before we arrived. Just two tea towels in the kitchen. This is a big house and we should have been provided with more dishes and utensils.
