Villa Sindu Ubud

The place is amazing, a little paradise hidden near Ubud. Central location if you want to explore or perfect retreat to enjoy a relaxing stay, no need to leave. The staff make sure you have everything you need.

There is limited hot water if you want to run a bath. But let's be honest, with that weather "room temperature" was more than enough.

De service gerichtheid van Ngurah is zeer goed. Hij helpt je bij al je verzoeken (bijvoorbeeld door de regen een taart kopen voor mijn zoontje en met mij naar een ETM achter op zijn scooter). Ook zijn verjaardag werd heel leuk gevierd. De accommodatie is heel leuk aangelegd. Drie slaapkamers met badkamer om het zwembad heen. Daarnaast een aparte keuken. De badkamer is wel buiten! Houdt daar rekening mee. Er zitten bijvoorbeeld wel kikkers die je hoort kwaken. Het is te ver om te lopen naar Ubud. Wij namen een Grab die er meestal binnen een minuut of 5 was. Via Nqurah hebben we 1 dag een auto geregeld. In de ochtend gevraagd en binnen een uur stond de auto klaar. Ook vervoer van de ene accommodatie naar de volgende regelt hij voor je.

Ik moest zelf even wennen aan het buiten douchen maar uiteindelijk is dat best prettig.

The villa was a tropical oasis. Separate buildings for bedrooms, living and kitchen. Simple furniture and designed for outdoor living. Lovely outdoor bathrooms. A central pool decorated with lights and an area for loungers. Plenty of seating options. Limited kitchen options if want to cook but why would you? Simple but good breakfast with tropical fruit plus choice of dish per person. Chickens were noisy but our body clocks meant we were up anyway! The hosts were contactable 24/7 but only nearby until 3 which was plenty - they could organise drivers for you.

Not really a negative - We thought it was a bit closer to Ubud than it was - its luck with the traffic but not too bad if you are prepared for it. Drivers were no issue and was nice to escape the hustle and hawkers and be in a non touristy area. Was truly nice to buy fruit at the local market and not be treated differently or prices hiked.

Excellent property manager, very helpful in organising drivers, providing recommendations and really interesting walking tour to local market. Villa is a calm oasis, outside a very busy Ubud. Easy to get taxi or moto around. Villa Property is rented in its entirety and has 3, one bedroom bungalows with en suites within the compound, all surrounding the pool.

Everything was great . Outstanding personnel and hosts . I fully recommande . Ngurah and Ayu were absolutely lovely with us . I fully recommend

The privacy of villa, comfortable bed & pillows, delicious breakfast options served daily, amazing friendly accommodating staff, Big thank you to Ngurah ! large infinity pool, lush oasis garden and landscaping, the calm quite seclusion and serenity of villa and outdoor entertaining pergola area. 1. Bath tub hot water/pressure, was unable to cope with the demand for family of 5, hot water pressure very weak, couldn't take a single bath due to insufficient hot water supply, despite being advertised as villa with bathtub. 2. Next door currently under construction, with scaffolding overlooking our villa, didn't really bother us as we'were out exploring Ubud most of the day, returning in the afternoon, which then the construction workers would stop work and finish for the day. 4. Mosquitos, villa did provide local insect repellent, which was good, however mosquito's did manage to get into villas at night, suggestion for owner in installing mosquito net for all beds.

The villa is beautiful, tidy, and impeccably clean. The garden is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. Mr. Ngurah was wonderful and courteous, and he gave us a lovely insight into Balinese culture. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to suit everyone's taste. It was a wonderful experience staying at the villa, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
