Villa Sindu Ubud

The villa is beautiful, spacious and has everything I need. The swimming pool is nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not humid at all and barely have any insects, which I was worried before I came. The room manager Ngurah is so friendly and helpful. He serviced us the breakfast every day, helped arrange the car and book reservations for dinner and gave us a tour to the local market and local house. My kids used the blender and made milkshakes by themselves, and Ngurah assisted them and clean up the mess they made. Really impressed. Highly recommended.

The house is comfortable, you have everything to feel comfortable. The owner is a uniquely kind and friendly person. The breakfast is varied. The garden and the pool are like a small oasis. Ubud is 10 minutes away by taxi. We had a great time. I highly recommend it.

The place is beautiful, but like any place outside of the middle of ubud, you will need a car to move around. The drivers are very nice and the staff can help you get a driver even!

Absolutely stunning, spacious, meticulously maintained. We had a bit of a foodie tour of Bali, and Villa Sindu was within 15 minutes of some must do restaurant - the Locavore restaurants (each one is a visual experience as well as amazing food), hujan locale, moksa ubud, Merlin’s - and a short distance from the art markets, major temples, famous ubud spas, monkey sanctuary. The pool was a nice refreshing dip in the afternoon, as we would get hot quickly trekking thru the sites in the morning. My kids appreciated having a beautiful room and bathroom to themselves, we don’t always get that when we travel. Authentic style but with modern amenities - air conditioning etc. And the staff is wonderful, from the welcome orange juice, to packing sandwiches for us ahead of our pre dawn trip to mount basa, to helping us when some of us got sick. Pause and enjoy the bonsai trees, they are really carefully maintained

My family had this little compound with multiple villa rooms all to ourselves and it was lovely. The garden/pool/bonsai trees/art/koi pond was so Zen-like and relaxing. There was help on the property during the day and they were excellent, willing to arrange transport, help with laundry, bring you coffee/tea or other needs. The breakfast choices were delicious and well presented.

Both a plus and a minus was that you did need to Grab bike or car to get into Ubud to hit restaurants etc., but it was also nice and quiet and away from the chaos and noise of central Ubud.

We had an absolutely amazing experience during our stay! Traveling with three kids can sometimes be challenging, but this property made everything seamless and enjoyable. The staff were outstanding — incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Their genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome. The tropical garden was truly breathtaking, like stepping into a paradise. It provided such a serene and magical atmosphere that the whole family loved. Every detail of the property reflected its excellent value for money, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the well-maintained facilities. This was hands-down one of the best vacations we’ve had, and we will definitely come again. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking relaxation, beauty, and exceptional service!
