Beautiful location Nearby restaurant with local food And coffee with sea view 😍 Easy transportation available Bus 01 to Funchal in every 30 to 40 min available near house Very supportive owner Even he helped to visit some specific places in Madeira and show us city by car And big thanks for wine 🍷 😍 House is just 500 meters from the beach ⛱️ Overall, I am in love with this place ,people and city 😍 Thank you

quiet place on main road. the hosts are nice people but should have been clearer describing their place

far from everything, the taxi from the airport cost € 55 the “apartment “ is a basement behind a garage, strong smell of mold and cat urine the shower was cold (at night and morning) even after letting it run and trying to adjust the position the TV is tiny (21”) the furnitures are run down. shabby would summarise the place

Luís and his family were super helpful and kind. They gave us privacy but were also around to help if we needed anything. They gave us bananas and avocados from the garden when we arrived, made sure we were settled and just had a super friendly attitude in general. The house was right in front of two bus stops that go into main Funchal, super easy! And the sceneries from praia formosa (the beach right in front of the house) was superb, watching the sunset there was beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

The hot water in the shower didn’t run for too long, it would run out after a while but the weather was warm and so I didn’t mind the slightly cold shower.

Really nice young couple and very helpful with everything.. the place is really nice and clean and has a massive comfy bed and all the basics for a nice stay.everything is brand new so I can't fault anything. Its a nice quiet place in a nice quiet area. Having own transport would be better but has bus stop 1 minute away . It has fruit trees in the garden so it always smells amazing and you have the sweetest mangoes at arm reach

The location is lovely and it a nice little apartment. The small garden is just beautiful and the owner are just so wonderful.

The corner of the bed keeps catching my shines. Takes a while to get hot water and it's much smaller then it is shown on the pictures.

The hosts were incredibly nice and friendly. We were welcomed with wine and fruit and they were more than happy to advise us where to go, what to do, eat, etc. The location was awesome, 1 minute to the bus stop and a few minutes to the beach. This isn’t the centre of Funchal, but because of it, we were able to eat in the local bars, attend non-touristic events and see how it is to really live in Funchal :) We also really loved the garden, it was great to just rest there after a full day of hiking.

Everything was great :) It would be even better if there was a coffeepot/mokka or something like that, but it is just a suggestion for the future.

The garden, and the overall stay, the host is hands down amazing, and very helpful, the house is very clean, and it’s literally 1 minute or less from the bus station, I couldn’t be happier with my stay.
