La vue au top! Hôte adorable au petit soin! Chambre propre avec moustiquaires.

Un peu trop dans les hauteurs,loin des comodités, bruit au petit matin de la route vers 6h(klaxon,tuk tuk etc...)

Wir sind ziemlich spät angereist und wurden trotzdem herzlich empfangen und mit einem leckeren und reichhaltigen heimischen Abendessen verwöhnt. Auch das Frühstück war lecker und reichhaltig. Die Mahlzeiten haben wir auf dem Balkon mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht ins Tal genossen. Morgens haben wir sogar Besuch von Affen gehabt. Die Gastgeber wohnen direkt nebenan und sind jederzeit erreichbar und für alle Wünsche offen. Das Haus liegt am Berg ca. 10 – 15 Minuten Fußweg vom Ort entfernt. Wir würden Racy Nature Cottage jederzeit wieder besuchen. Vielen Dank den Gastgebern für die tolle Zeit!

A l’écart du tumulte du centre, sans être trop loin. Une vue magnifique sur la forêt. Des propriétaires adorables et attentionnés. Très bon petit déjeuner aussi, très copieux. Attention aux singes nombreux qui chapardent la nourriture des que vous avez le dos tourné !

Very friendly and kind host plus the view from the private terrace is stunning.

De eigenaren zijn zo vriendelijk! Elke keer als we thuiskwamen stonden ze klaar met koffie en thee. Ze konden alles voor je regelen: een tuktuk, lekker eten, de was doen. Gewoon perfect. De kamer ligt ook op een prima plek om de Ella Rock track te starten. Het uitzicht blijft adembenemend en is elke keer weer anders. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Racy deed zo hard haar best om ons in de watten te leggen.

Het was wel een beetje basic: één stopcontact dat werkte waar ook de wifi in zat, klein kamertje zonder tafeltje.

Everyone says this but I can assure you this is the best accommodation we've stayed at during our 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. There's a lot of fake 5 stars around in Sri Lanka but this is not one of them. -Stunning views -Away from the centre but close enough to tuk tuk in or walk - Hosts are AMAZING. Racy and her family really are so sweet. They bring you tea and biscuits regularly, check in to make sure things are ok....and the food is incredible!!! With this being Sri Lanka we've had curry every day and the dinner we just ate was the best we've had so far. Then there is the breakfast aswell. Pancakes, fruit, eggs. Pretty much whatever you ask for, Racy will make and it's all delicious. - It's the nicest room we've had during our trip and by far the comfiest bed. Had our best night's sleep here! (And our first place with a hot shower) I could honestly go on and on, there's too much to mention. Do yourself a favour and book this if you're in Ella, you won't regret it. Thank you to Racy and the family, they really were the best and you've created a wonderful place for people to visit. 🤗

Our family stay at Racy Nature Cottage was truly amazing! The host was incredibly attentive and caring, making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our visit. This warm hospitality made all the difference. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start to the day. We had the breathtaking view from the balcony! Waking up to the stunning scenery was an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay with great food and beautiful views, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Good value for money. Also, a Good location for views with birds and native deer appearing in the back yard. Privacy of the villa was very good with a verandah for eating. An Accomodating host who cooked whatever we requested including veg noodle soup and sandwiches for our return train ride to Colombo. Her charges for meals were very reasonable.

There is building work at the moment to create a second villa right next to us. Although the owner tried to limit this work it was quite disturbing given how close it was. Generally it was not as quiet as we had expected as there is traffic noisy and village sounds rather than complete silence, which we had expected. We recommend the owner prepare a menu with prices as it was a source of anxiety being invited to order food without knowing what it would cost or having to repeatedly ask what items would cost, especially because the host’s English is quite limited.

Super kind host, she tried her best to make our trip comfortable. We didn’t miss anything. Good breakfast and nice view from the balcony.

It was bit noisy from outside (rooftop) and weak wifi signal, otherwise excellent stay for the money we paid.
