Racy Nature Cottage

Probably the best accommodation we have experienced during 2 weeks in Sri Lanka - very nice, helpful and hospitable host family, tasty and rich breakfast and dinner, nice private terrace with a view.

No weak points in our view given the favourable price.

Very nice place, calm and beautiful view from the balcony. Cozy place with home made delicious food. Provided with all the amenities and breakfast for a very reasonable price. The hosts are really nice and caring. Hope to visit again.

The best Homestay in Ella. The owner was so nice and always paying attention to our needs. The cottage is very new and extrem clean and well maintained. And the most stunning is the view from the balcony. The breakfast was very delicious and a lot. We also had dinner which was very tasty. Over all we had a great time there.

Just think about to have a scooter or tuktuk to come around cause it is a bit out of Ella town. But this was a selling point for us.

The host was incredible friendly and helpful. We loved our morning breakfast spread and being able to see the trains go past. It was also a really easy and lovely walk into Ella down the hillside paths (get All Trails app) or you can get a tuktuk (best on PickMe app or the host can call you one).

While we enjoyed our stay the building works next door we found quite stressful and not relaxing so I’d want to know they had finished. A lot of Ella is having building works mostly for us tourists :(

Great place to stay in this area! Close to the town of Ella, and at the same time very close to nature (sounds of the jungle). A great break :) The view from the terrace was amazing. Very caring and nice owners. Delicious food. We highly recommend it!

We can really recommend Racy Nature Cottage. The View from the balcony is just stunning and you can see a lot of animals from there too. Monkeys, deer and lots of birds. The place was very clean and the host family is so caring and lovely. They did our laundry, organized transport, offered dinner on the balkony (which was lovely) and they even invited us in their home for breakfast. You can walk from there to the train tracks in about 10 Min and to a very nice waterfall too. Really nice restaurant at the tracks too (Bee‘s cooking). We stayed a full week and had a great time.
