Noka House Wabi-sabi Artist Eco Villa in Ubud

Beautiful property with charm, friendly host and delicious breakfasts. The gardens, pool and rooms were all on point.

This house is a little haven in Ubud. The owner, Nyoman, keeps in daily contact and ensures you are comfortable, providing a delicious breakfast each morning. The pool was a highlight for my grandchildren.

This place was so amazing - we were in Bali for a month and this was the highlight of our trip. The place itself is absolutely beautiful and the owners were so lovely, we honestly felt like friends to them the way they made us feel welcome from the first moment we arrived. Their recommendation for a driver made our trip even better - and they were always on hand with answers to any questions we had. The breakfasts were delicious, the house cat Oreo was a wonderful bonus, and the toys and books for the kids just made everything so wonderful. We can't wait to come back!

It’s located about a 10- to 15-minute taxi ride from the city center, in the jungle next to a rice field, but it was actually nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud for a bit.

- We especially appreciated the attention to detail in how the villa was designed and built. - The choice of materials was beautiful and created a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. - Everything felt thoughtfully designed and harmonious. - The owner was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. - He was especially warm and friendly towards our children, which we truly appreciated.

Everything! The home was calm, peaceful, and beautifully rustic. The host was kind and communicated clearly. Beds were comfy, and I especially loved the bathroom, especially the scent of the shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. Also, breakfast was always sumptuous and fresh, cooked and served by the homeowner himself and his staff. We enjoyed the spacious veranda with views of surrounding greeneries. All in all, being at Artist Eco Villa was one of the highlights of our vacation in Ubud :)

It was not centrally located (about 12 minutes car ride) so we had to take a cab everyday to go to the city center—but that's a small setback, considering the serenity of the space we would go back home to at the end of every day :)

Nyoman was a lovely host and took particular care to find out what we needed in preparation to come to Bali and the house in particular. The house is more of a home with particular attention given to details like having books to read of different genres, facilities like washing machine and clothes rack, a place to sleep, a place to lounge in etc. The breakfast was made with care and love and although the choices were limited to 5, it didnt feel short of options. Some good restaurants, laundry and massage centres within walking distance

A bit short of creature comforts that you find in good hotels but that is not what the property is selling at that price. Here, you are getting into a home. The pool was clean but a bit cold to get into but that is more related to Ubud being a bit cooler than rest of Bali. The place was a bit far away from central Ubud but ideal location if you want a bit of quiet

A simply gorgeous home built with quality, recycled materials and thoughtful details. It’s just wonderful.
