Streamside Country Manor- Matamata

Beautiful property.

Only concern was there is no guardrail for the staircase going up to the bedroom on the upper level. Staircase is steep and only for well balanced individuals.

We loved Streamside, the home was a delight in a gorgeous rural setting. The stream and gardens so beautiful. Woodfire burning on arrival made the home so cosy.

Absolutely magical location with very friendly hosts! Close to hobbiton and other attractions but felt like a secluded hideaway.

Everything was perfect! Caren received us so well and she is amazing and told us all about the house! The place is truly a hidden gem. It looks like paradise when having a cup of coffee outside! The house is carefully curated, it is absolutely beautiful! We were 4 friends and unfortunately could only stay 1 night. For sure we will be back and book Caren’s place again! If you’re in doubt: don’t!! This is definitely worth it!

Caren was very welcoming and friendly. We had the house to ourselves, which was great. It's a stunning location with a peaceful garden and proper old family house feeling.

Caren was a wonderful host. The only regret i have was leaving, if we go again in the future we'll stay longer for sure. Cant thank you enough!

Everything about the experience was magical: the beautiful home, the incredible hosts, the idyllic countryside, and the proximity to Hobbiton. It truly felt like a home away from home. I can’t wait to return!
