Cute little room, ac worked well, bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice.

There was a slight odor in the room.

Wonderful stay I booked the room with AC and fan and had a wonderful terrace where to chill. Everything was really clean and had hot water, and the windows could be fully closed — which is important in Sri Lanka, where many bathrooms have open windows that let in mosquitoes. They also offered laundry service. The family is the sweetest. Absolutely recommended.

My favourite place to stay in Sri Lanka. I’ve booked 3 nights and ended up staying for a month. The family running the place are the absolute best! They helped me with everything I needed, including renting a scooter. The facilities are simple in very good quality, including AC and hot water in the shower. I loved the shared balcony with the equipped kitchen. Located right in front of a quiet beach to chill in. Very good value for money. Couldn’t recommend it more, thank you for a calmed and enjoyable staying 🙏🏼

We stayed at The Orange House Weligama for 21 nights. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional cleanliness of the entire property. Everything was spotless, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The friendly, kind, and helpful owners made our experience even better. They were always willing to assist with anything, at any time, ensuring that we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home. The great location of the hotel was another highlight—it’s just a short walk to the beach and the main street, making it super convenient to explore the area while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. One of the best parts of our stay was the well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to cook our own meals whenever we wanted. This was a huge bonus, especially for longer stays. We also loved the amazing lounge area on the big balcony—a perfect spot to enjoy the view. Overall, this hotel exceeded all our expectations! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place with outstanding hospitality. We can’t wait to return!
