Bicycles are free, surfboards are free. If you want a scooter, you can rent it for a day for a small fee. It is a 2-minute walk to the most beautiful part of the beach.

Orange House Villa is a true gem in Weligama. From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcome, thanks to the attentive and kind hosts who run this place. They even accompanied me to get my phone repaired—talk about going above and beyond! The villa itself is clean and comfortable, with everything you need. My room was cozy, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was spotless. The location is perfect—right by the beach, close to the city center but still quiet and peaceful. One of my favorite spots was the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful ocean view and cook your own meals in the little kitchen. It’s a great place to relax and unwind. The hosts made my stay truly special with their kindness and helpfulness. They always had great tips for exploring the area and were there whenever I needed anything. It felt more like staying with friends than in a hotel. If you’re looking for a comfortable place with warm hospitality and a fantastic location, Orange House Villa is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The Orange House is hidden away and feels safe and quiet. The hosts were communicative and attentive. Definitely pay extra for the room with the AC. Loved the kitchen upstairs to be able to make tea and if you wish, cook your own meals. Everything was clean and tidy.

Lots of mosquitos in the room (not their fault, just come prepared with bug spray). The wifi was out for 2 days in a row which sucks when you're trying to work. You have to buy your own drinking water.

Amazing family and nice room

Stayed at Orange House for 2 weeks and had a great experience! The family who runs this guesthouse is incredibly friendly and very helpful. They cooked an amazing dinner for myself and 3 other guests! The location is very close to the main surfbreaks on weligama beach and shops, restaurants, atms. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was hot, I struggled without air con but it was my fault for not checking this. Very basic accomodation but comfortable and staff are friendly. Laundry good.

Lots of ants, hot room struggle to sleep.
