Villa Chinta 1

The owner was there to meet us on arrival and was wonderful. Very friendly. The little added extras he provided throughout the villa really made us feel welcome, especially at Christmas time. I don’t want to spoil the small surprises by listing them for other guests you will just have to stay here to see! He even has the aircon on before we arrived to cool the place down for us. It was very central, and within walking distance to restaurants, laundry, night markets, supermarket, the mall and a gym and the beach. He had great recommendations for some warungs to eat as well. Can’t wait to stay again!

Size of accommodation, cleanliness of accommodation, proximity to restaurants, shopping & beach, onsite clean water fountain which was very important to us to avoid Bali belly

Putu was terrific. He manages the villas and as the villa is hard to find, he came and found us along the roadway then guided us in to the villa. Easy to communicate with, he helped us organise our activities and great insightful advice. He works hard to ensure guests have a great experience. The villa has a ‘lived in’ and comfortable feel to it, and guests are provided with everything they would require (including effective insect repellent!) Great layout and actually quite spacious. We were able to park our car within a gated safe area.

The lounges outside are unable to be used. The are designed in an odd way. You can’t easily lay in them. Need to be replaced. We were a group of three, but the outdoor seating was for two, as were the lounges. More outdoor seating required. Sensor light for the gate needs to stay on longer, to make it easier when locking up in the dark.

Location, building work/noise close by, shower could do with modernising, smells from drainage, air con droplets from unit onto bed

Breakfast not supplied but there was a lovely little Warung around the corner - great meals, cheap cocktails & beers - reasonably close (walking distance) to lots of shops, restaurants & the beach.

Great location, cery central tucked away in quiet alley. Everything within walking distance. Beach, bike hire, and eateries. Villa clean well equiped with everything you needed. Excellent Pool was an added bonus. Putu was an exceptional host making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Good kitchen for preparing breakfast. Nice safe location not far from the main strip in Sanur. Cleaned every day by a nice lady. Good air conditioning.

The pool was murky and un inviting even after attention from pool guy. The property is very tired and needs some serious renovation work. The outside shower didn’t work. The bathroom stank of sewer water. The location is close to two construction sites which were noisy at times. Not the owners fault but be aware. The neighbors dog barked most nights. There’s rats in the roof. Not good value for money.

Beautiful property, clean, convenient. The owner had some very thoughtful touches like some cold drinks and fruit on arrival too which was lovely.

The pool wasn’t super clean but that may have to do with a storm and nearby construction at the time of our stay.
